G'day all.

England in command now. Great hundred by Ian Bell to get England past the 500 mark. Paul Collingwood though, take a bow. What an innings. He really is has turned into a vital cog in our middle order, hopefully this will be his series.

How do you guys think we will do on this wicket ? I think our openers, MoYo and Faisal will struggle with the bounce Harmy will get. With added pressure of a massive total I reckon we will struggle big time if the openers go quickly.

Well my bounce theory looks sound as far as what Harmy is extracting.

iZeeshan
14th July 2006, 15:59
So Extras is tied for highest score. England are bowling wide on purpose, not for runs, but to lose concentratin. Then they'll throw in a straight or inswinger, and Farhat will fall for it.

That was close.

Farhat looking good. Has played some good shots, but not using his feet. But he is finding the gap, and as got 3 fours this over. Not luck, but not good eihter. He has to use his feet or he may edge it.

He has this problem and I think he wont be able to eradicate it hopefully he develops good hand eye co-ordination and makes the most of this flaw as Sehwag does more often than not.

I am not a fan of Butt as a cricketer but in this Test I want him to perform miracles and make me look like a fickle fool. ;-)

Why does Farhat stick his butt out? I think that creates problems for him when he plays shots. And Raja has always been against Butt, wouldn't be surprised if it was some personal problem (like with his family).

I don't think it is a "belter", it's not a Lahore or Faisalabad, considering the weather it seems to be a good test match wicket!

Harmison to Salman Butt, OUT, loose drive results in a thick edge which flies to second slip. Excellent catch by Strauss. Harmison has found his line at last – and got the reward. Faisal Iqbal strides in.
