I don't think an extra day will be any helpful at all because it's gonna be raining on Saturday as well.
It's raining like hell here today and it's gonna be same on thursday and Friday as well. It won't be raining on Saturday but it's still cloudy.
Forget about the first FINAL!!!!!

Not looking good:
Final washout would incur hefty losses

AUSTRALIAN cricket faces a million-dollar loss if tomorrow's big money spinner, the first VB Series final at the MCG, is washed out.
Melbourne's big wet has left the day-night fixture between Australia and Pakistan in doubt, with heavy rain and damp weather expected to continue until Saturday.
If the match is abandoned, there is no chance of Cricket Victoria and Cricket Australia recouping their costs as no reserve day has been scheduled.
Game two of the series is in Sydney on Sunday.
While sponsorship or television fees won't be affected, it will be in gate receipts where cricket's governing bodies will largely be hit.
Ticket refunds will have to be given to thousands of fans who have booked seats, while the loss from walk-up sales will be tremendous.
Food, catering staff, gate attendants and other staff will also have to be paid despite there being no match.
CA public affairs chief Peter Young said there were no plans to incorporate reserve days into future programming because the jam-packed international schedule was too full.
"It is a complex job building a future tour program and planning for a reserve day would just add more complexity," Young said.
"They have reserve days in England and New Zealand but there is a much higher risk of rain in those countries."
A washout tomorrow would be a double blow for local fans who this week learnt there would be no VB Series final at the MCG next season.
CA has decided Melbourne will be well rewarded next season by hosting three one-day matches between Australia and the Rest of the World in October.
The issue of reserve days has become a contentious one after Queensland Cricket took a major hit this summer when it lost hundreds of thousands after the third one-day match between Australia and New Zealand was washed out.
