This lead is looking dangerous now, Pakistan may struggle to chase 120.

No.

Anything possible when we have timid kings Azhar and Shafiq are our main batsmen, followed by useless Babar, national nephew, good for nothing Rahat and captain shout.

If they get to 180-200 they can win. 130-150 we will chase although will lose 6-7 wickets.

They do not have the bowlers, but they have exposed Pakistan nonetheless.

What exposed ? Shadab is in his second test Faheem first everyone knows Rahat is useless.Amir and Abbas have done well. The only thing exposed is Sarfraz captaincy and Mickey as a coach you donít put pressure on such an inexperienced bowling up to take 20 wickets without break. Most Irish are expierenced first class cricketers in their historic first game for their country they were not going to fold twice.

Only 3 times a side has won after being asked to follow on

Not possible. Australia had the bowling attack to defend small scores. But as debutant test country they did good. If Irish had played as good as they played in the second innings this would be nail biter test match

I don't know man, we'll probably still win but expect to lose 5-7 wickets at least even if we end up chasing around 150. Our top 5 is very fragile. Who's this kid Imam-ul-haq doing in tests. You look at Inzi sometimes and think what is mans doing.

Haris Sohail just making a come back, Azhar ultra cautious and doesn't score until a lot of deliveries have passed, which is risky since sometimes he leaves for 5 (37), which doesn't benefit when chasing. Babar has been a dud in tests for a bit, but I have faith in him... just not right now. Sarfraz is in this England trip for the fish 'n chips.

I'd hate for our hopes to rest on Shafiq for this match and the England tour in general so I really hope Azhar pulls through and carries the batting, Haris adjusts accordingly. Asking anything more from the other guys will be too much to ask.

They sure can

Azhar terribly out of form. Imam on debut.

Say Pakistan are chasing 200 and are 30/2 then Harris has negligible experience. Shafiq is terrible under pressure. They end up 70/4

And then that lower order is too inexperienced and if Ireland get them 70/4 chasing 200 I bet Ireland would win

Pakistan can collapse and that has always been irrespective of pitch and attack

These Irish players have played a lot of county cricket and the standard of intercontinental championship is quite high these days when you consider guys like Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Zadran are troubling the best of batsman in the IPL and we've seen teams like Scotland, Netherlands have players with plenty of county cricket experience, the likes of Coetzer, Ten Doeschate, Tom Cooper, Alisdair Evans etc.. so Ireland have been exposed to competitive 4 day cricket and they are no pushovers.

Having said all that I expect Pakistan to win the match tomorrow without much drama UNLESS there is rain, in which case we could see a draw.

Tbh, I have a bad feeling. I am hoping rain can save us cos I'd say Ireland are in a good position now. Pakistan have bottled a few small chases recently such as against Sri Lanka and West Indies last year.

Ireland have to score 30-40 runs more and it is their game to lose.

I feel that Pakistan will be 20/5 then the debutants Shadab and Faheem will save the day. How about that?

I would rather watch Ireland win than a tame weather induced draw

The sheer fallback and reaction of the fans IF Pakistan loses would be something akin to an apocalypse. Not keen on watching the abuses hurled by the fans at the players if they lose to a team playing their first test in history.

Well if they have to be saved by weather itís better to lose

Don't think Azhar co. will dare to chase anything over 170 and will do tuktuking for save the match.

5 Batsmen picked (2 walking wickets, a debutant and depending on Haris/Shafiq). Pakistan will lose.

30 more runs and this game is all but gone. 160+ in the 4th Inning under clouds against bowlers who are brought up in these conditions is basically asking for a miracle.

I don't see us chasing anything over 150 tbh.
