Dont know if you ladies and gents were aware, but I was fortunate enough to travel to Kenya in August of this year. During my 3 week stay we went to the Masai Mara for 3 days and what an experience it was.
I've posted some pictures of the animals we saw in the Masai Mara and they can be found in the PP Off Topic Gallery :-

Hope you like them.

Excellent pics there Saj bhai! They are definitely blessed with some amazing wildlife.
BTW how are they doing as a country? and do you think that the African continent as a whole can fight it's way out of poverty and disease?

Kenya itself relies heavily on tourism, export of flowers, export of fruit and veg. Its better off than a lot of its neighbours where civil wars and corrupt leaders have ruined those countries.
Corruption however is still evident in Kenya, but its a beautiful and fascinating country, which still has a large Asian population. In fact when we we were there, Juggy D and his mob were performing.
Cricket is quite popular too, however not as popular as football and athletics. Whilst I was in Nairobi, I went to the Gymkhana ground where Afridi broke the world record for the fastest one day century.
As for the Mara, cant describe the experience in words really, other than seeing the animals in their natural habitat was just awesome. Elephants, zebra, antelope etc crossing the road in front of us while we were in our vehicle was superb. We also saw the migration of the animals from Tanzania into Kenya, through the Serengeti to the Mara - we managed to see the wildebeast crossing the Mara river and a few of them falling prey to some rather hungry crocodiles.

Saj, did you go on some tour? I've been planning on going to visit Kenya for some time now with my parents and my wife. Just wondering if there was a particular tourism package that you took or did you just go exploring with friends/family.
