WI will now be facing SA instead of NZ and that too in Mohali because the NRR of both India and Australia is better than WI . So, irrespective of who wins tomorrow , WI will be facing SA . Did the selfish play by Gayle and Bravo cost them a place in the Finals ??What do you guys say ?

WI will face SA at Jaipur...I don't know why commentators were saying "oh we will find out tomorrow" because to me its fairly obvious that SA will be facing the WI at Jaipur ....or am i missing something :20: The only way the WI could end up at #1 is if AUS IND match ends in a tie or NR

NRR of India and Australia is higher than WI ..so the winner of tomorrow's match will top the group

To be honest West indies are capable of beating S.A in semis.

well windies will crumble if the pitch is similar to the one where pak lost.

if it is a battin wicket like today, well it could be a thriller

Anyways it all was a match of little consequence to wi, they did get some batting practise.

they played selfish yes. Bravo even on the second last ball was not taking risks

You expect South Africa to be the favs becasue they are not going to go down 42/5 again

I dont think they batted that selfishly.... If Lara hadnt been taking wild swings on the last 3 balls and had instead stood there and played proper shots the windies may have scored 10 or more in the last over, which could have made a big difference to the final outcome.

Well kp might have hit 2 more sixes to overcome those 10 runs

Wouldnt the Windies be 1st regardless cause they beat both Australia and India?

they sure seem to lose their first 3 wickets pretty quickly, there average first 10 over socre is 30-3.

its funny because my cuz has always called Chris Gayle the most selfish player on earth after he did somethign similar in the last WC( against SA IIRC).
