Short and Sweet Request for help:

I am interested in a large capacity MP3 Player which will also hold around 1,000 pictures as well. I have seen the ipod Nanos and the reviews are not positive, the Creative Zen looks good but, the reviews for that are not too pelasing as well.

I remember there was a thread on this but, cant seem to find it. Can someone help me with this, I want at least say 5,000-10,000 tracks and about 1,000 images storage space.

I want to put my entire music library onto a MP3 player if it is possible.

Many thanks!

I'm looking for a new one - left my old 1GB MP3 player in Pak.

1GB is pefectly adequate for me.

Nothing wrong with most Creative players. The Ipod is an excellant but hyped product and you pay extra for this hype.

In fact most mp3 players do not play mp3s that differently. All depends on the quality of the mp3 files themselves. I am quite fussy and need mp3 files encoded at 320kbps bitrate directly from the original CD.

If you put in crap quality, it will sound like crap regardless of what the mp3 player looks like.

Most mobile phones play mp3 files very well. No different to an mp3 player in fact. If you have a mobile phone which has a card slot (e.g. sd card, mmc card). I'd recommend just buying a card, get decent earphones for the mobile and there you go. It has saved me buying 2 devices.

Nowadays 1GB flash based mp3 players are very affordable now.

for those in the uk - go to www.mobymemory.com for memory cards for ur mobile

its easier one thing around rather than two

and since most people will always have their mobile with them, best thing to do is to just put ur mp3's on the mobile

Spend limit is about £75-£150....not too cheap and not too expensive but, just enough to meet my needs, saying that I am expecting to get a Nokia N73 which should handle some images I suppose.

Samsung YP-K5. This has to be the coolest MP3 player at the moment.

You can buy it here:

I'd buy an iPod Nano and transform it using one of the skins they sell online in States. Now how cool is that:

I've got a Nokia N73 with a 2gb card in it
image quality is excellent
sound quality is good as it has stero sound

i think u might be able to get a larger memory card (which u will need if u wanna put thousands of mp3s and 1,000 images on it)

In all honesty Luton is full of chicken and chips shops and the restaurants are not that good, heard good things about Lahori Grill which offers a lot of good quality food.

Tell you what, go to Southall find Roshni restaurant and you wont leave disappointed, good service, excellent food, calm and really enjoyable when i went.

I got myself a Toshiba gigabeat (30GB) for $200 from eBay. Brand new, unopened. Been very happy with it. But you need to sync it with WMP version 11. Plays music and videos and stores photos and other files as well.

I've got the Zen Vision M 60GB. Excellent player, thoroughly recommended. Do not go near the iPod, the crap battery life will irritate you to no end.

I've been using my G1 ipod (5 GB) since 2001. Use it every single day. It has survived three Windows laptops. Never had a problem with battery. Never missed a beat. Simply bullet-proof in its leather casing. Not a single mark on it. You must be talking about sum'ming else. Apple don't make crap products.
