Hi guys, I am going to Toronto for a weekend. After having lived in Indiana for a pretty long time, I'm dying to buy a cricket bat myself(not online but actually buying one that feels good). Can anyone recommend a good cricket shop in Toronto? Much appreciated.

what kind of bat are you looking for? there's a shop at gerrard st in toronto but i don't like what he sells. then there's this guyanese place that sells cricket equipment (both english and desi bats) in scarborough called Bedessee Imports where they used to have a fair variety, though relatively expensive. Khan Sports in the airport area has some decent desi equipment you can buy as well, though make sure you bargain with the man. most other places that have indoor practice facilities usually have a small cricket store attached as well.

If I were to pick my favourite it would be UT Pro. And since I'm there only for a weekend I am looking to minimize the looking around period. So I was hoping for a quick reference. It looks like Khan sports would be my best bet. I'm still hoping someone can tell me where I could find UT bats.
thanks for the info.

ah, UT bats may be a little difficult to find specially since there isn't any cricket going on right now where some guys that have picked bats up from their trips to Pakistan will sell them to the local teams. The Khan Sports dude does sell some KS stickered bats which he claims are made by Malik, so you can probably get decent value there. i wouldn't trust his claims too much though.
