I would say


1992: Gooch dropping Imran Khan in the world cup final. PAK would have been in serious bother at 60 odd for 3 had Gooch latched on to that catch.

1996: ? IIRC Aravinda De silva was dropped in the semi final but i am not sure :20:

1999: Gibbs dropping S Waugh...enough said

2003: A toss up between A Razzaq dropping Sachin and B Macllum dropping R Dravid. Had A Razzaq caught Sachin there PAK would have been well on their way to a win but i guess it was a tough chance so he can be forgiven :21:
Macllum's catch was even more important IMO, this was NZ's last chance to make it to the semis and they defending a small total they had IND on the mat and had Dravid been dismissed there it most likely would have been NZ's game.

We cud have won the match, lazy effort,, I will never in by whole life forget that moment

yeah I remember Wasim recently saying in an interview... he told Razzaq that he didn't just drop the catch but has lost us the match.

razzaks drop catch shows why we are the worst fielders, it was such a lazy attemp, he looked half asleep and was standing in the wrong position.

but the biggest drop was H Gibbs, it wasnt really a drop he caught it but went for an early celebration and the ball slipped, waugh simply just went over to him and said 'youve just droped the world cup mate' and was totaly right. sad to see one of the best fielders in the game drop a catch at such a stage.
