View Full Version : best young prospect in football
who do you think is destined to become bigger and better? or who is doing well at the moment?
i think that stewart downing is a gud emerging player at the moment, should be a regular in the england side- can fill the left side gap i think.

i maybe biased - but just wait and see lionel messi at barcelona develop - a superb talent - already real madrid tried pulling a "cesc" as did Ac milan and chelsea have scouted him as well - just 17, left footed attacking midfielder.
Robinho is something special - 20 yrs of age but fast being compared to ronnyd - likes to drift in off left wing ala ronnyd.
marat ismailov - at lokomotiv moscow - special player - left sided player - likely to join arsenal.
erik lamela - best real young prospect is this kid at river plate - he is 12 yrs old - huge controversy when barca tried pinching him from river - ac tried as well - has talent.
carlos tevez - am shocked that he went to corinthians - this guy is very special!!
alexander hleb - another wenger target - but boy can this guy play!!

john welsh at liverpool is another good prospect.
simon walton is a good prospect. james milner i have a feeling will fade because he is not getting that many chances at nufc. carson was good at championship level but not too sure about premiership level.
Everton academy chief: Vaughan wasn't our most talented
Everton academy chief Ray Hall says James Vaughan's elevation has been down to the 16 year-old's work ethic.
"In many ways James Vaughan is an ideal product of our system. He wasn't one of our better players at around 13 or 14, but stuck in, and through his own ambition and workrate grew his talent, and now he's a kid with a chance," he told the Sunday Times.
"An ingredient that has helped boys on the 'journey' - and this is something I only fully realised recently - is that at the end of the road we have a first-team manager willing to give them a chance. As well as being delighted for James when he scored, I was thrilled for David Moyes, who had the courage to put him on to the pitch at the age of 16."
Joining Vaughan in the England Under-17 squad preparing to compete in the European Championship next month is another Everton youngster, Scott Phelan.
The club also boasts two England Under-16 players, Lee Molyneux and John Paul Kissock, an England Under-19 cap in Laurence Wilson and an England Under-18 striker, Paul Hopkins.
