All of us are waiting for CCTV to help us find the killer but if you think logically that may not happen. Bob was found Sunday morning. Officially it took a number of days to declare his death as homicide. It was considered a suicide for the first 24 hours or so before doubts started to emerge.

I am not sure if police head a hunch it being a murder and therefore got hold of the CCTV immediately. If they were like everyone else then it may have taken 24 hours plus to consider CCTV critical in helping solve the murder. I think they did not have an idea for the first day or so and if that is true then we can most probably say good-bye to any clue from CCTV.

Most of us think this is some sort of a professional hit. Someone was able to drug Bob by mixing poison/drug in the food (yet to be determined). If the killer is able to mix drugs in food I am sure they can also get their hands on the CCTV recording and delete or replace it with something other. Especially if police did not consider it important initially then chances of someone(Killer) getting access to CCTV with some cash thrown around are even greater.

i tend to agree with that to some extent.i think the problem may be that cctv is just recording moving images of people who are at the entrance of the floor around the lift area,in other words it would not show anyone entering any room or walking down the hallway.that being said it should still catch someone who was not staying at that floor or not visiting anyone, but who entered the floor.

i have my doubts on the cctv footage. I still think its going to be hard to really point a finger.

Lets say i'll be surprised if thye do get anywhere with the footage

yeah i dont know.they cant charge anyone based on footage around the lift area.they would need dna evidence to back it up.

Has anyone wondered how and why Mark Shield was confident enough to state no 'local' Jamaican involvement with Bob's murder?

How can this be claimed well before CCTV evidence had even become available? Also, they were quick to rule out that Pakistani players are not above suspicion.

Do the Police know more than they have been letting on?
