will put up rules and player list on a little later today - feel free to enter - coz it is free - we can see who would make a great selector. just finalising player list - each player has a rating from A to E(a being best) -
per team u must have 4 nations represented at all times
also max allowance per team is 2 A's 3B's 4C's etc
players are classified into bowler,batsman,all rounder and keeper categories
composition must be 5 batsman,1ar,1wk,4 bowlers.
points scoring
every 2 runs scored = 1pt
100=15 bonus pts on top
duck= -20pts except bowlers
catch= 3pts
stumping=7pts
wicket=20pts
every 5 runs(whole) conceded by a bowler = -1pt e.g if concede 23 then it's -4pts
4fer - 5 bonus points
5fer - 20 bonus pts
u must designate a skipper for your side from the list u have chosen - can be abyone from the 11 - he scores double pts or gets u double the amount of negative pts so pick carefully
a flavour of players ratings, inzi = A,ponting=A pathan=B

WIY are you doing a fantasy league for TEST and ODI's combined?
Can you hold fire for a fews days and wait for the end of the VB Series, then I will be able to host the Fantasy Cricket League on the Website.
How are you planning to keep track of the scores of the International players and points for the fans?
Will you be able to make transfers etc?
I think at this stage people should just put there name down if there are interested, if we are going to do this lets do it properly.

was thinking of 2o transfers and 4 captain changes for one half - i.e split cricketing calender into two

WIY, No Probs we will create a whole new Fantasy League section. Similar to the Pool.
I spoke to Fessal about my original ideas for it, ask him to forward the e-mail to you, if he has not already done so.
Personally I would do a minimal transfer system, otherwise it would be an administrative nightmare keeping track of everything.
I would go for Season & Monthly competion, Allowing people to a few players at the end of the month...
Inshallah by next week I will be able to spend time on creating the Fantasy Section.
For the time being just e-mail me with your ideas.
I think we need the following sections:
1. Rules & Points System.
2. List of Players in categories, and there values
3. Players and there actual cricket scores on match by match basis, so points system is clear and transparent for all to see...
4. League Table
I will give it more thought next week and get back to you.

u cant have ab as a keeper - we only play specialist players in specialist positions come in handy for specialist situations etc - atleast that is what a certain gary says

This whole thing should be done on series-to-series basis. It will be way too confusing to have it from all teams cos some teams play more, some play less.

WIY are you doing a fantasy league for TEST and ODI's combined?
Can you hold fire for a fews days and wait for the end of the VB Series, then I will be able to host the Fantasy Cricket League on the Website.
How are you planning to keep track of the scores of the International players and points for the fans?
Will you be able to make transfers etc?
I think at this stage people should just put there name down if there are interested, if we are going to do this lets do it properly.

WIY, No Probs we will create a whole new Fantasy League section. Similar to the Pool.
I spoke to Fessal about my original ideas for it, ask him to forward the e-mail to you, if he has not already done so.
Personally I would do a minimal transfer system, otherwise it would be an administrative nightmare keeping track of everything.
I would go for Season & Monthly competion, Allowing people to a few players at the end of the month...
Inshallah by next week I will be able to spend time on creating the Fantasy Section.
For the time being just e-mail me with your ideas.
I think we need the following sections:
1. Rules & Points System.
2. List of Players in categories, and there values
3. Players and there actual cricket scores on match by match basis, so points system is clear and transparent for all to see...
4. League Table
I will give it more thought next week and get back to you.

This whole thing should be done on series-to-series basis. It will be way too confusing to have it from all teams cos some teams play more, some play less.
