KARACHI: The committee inquiring into Pakistan’s early exit from cricket World Cup Thursday met in Karachi.

Former test cricketer Sadiq Muhammad appeared before the committee members at a local hotel in the morning session.

Talking to media after two-hour session, chairman of the committee Ijaz Butt told newsmen that former chief selector Waseem Bari, selector Iqbal Qasim, team members Shahid Afridi, Muhammad Sami, Younis Khan and Danish Kaneria have been invited on Friday.

The committee will complete the inquiry prior to its 30 days’ term Butt added.

Why Afridi, Sami, Khan and Kaneria??? Because it is in Krachi...next session would be held in Lahore followed by Peshawer, Sialkot, Laalo khait..dhoom khedi...they are trying to be accomodating to the players as they are tired after WC or may be security reasons...
In fact, they could have held the inquiry in Raiwind as they would have found the whole party there...would have saved a lot of money.

We all know nothing good ever comes out of these committees. It just buys them time so that the dust settles down and emotions dry up. Then we start all over again, making the same blunders with the same end results !!!

This is going to be the usual window dressing. They haven't got the guts to be honest.
