The Sun has always backed blair. Even during the Iraq war, it sold itself as the 'soldiers newspaper'.

Regardless, their 'official' support for Labour will definitley do more good than harm, it is the most widly circulated in paper in Britain, the underlying pro-blair undertone will defintley work in the PM's favour.
