Villa score against Bolton.
OG Hierro!
1527: GOAL Aston Villa 1-0 Bolton
The first goal of the afternoon is an own goal. Bolton's Fernando Hierro meets Nolberto Solano's corner with a textbook header into his own net.

Liverpool's season looks over
1534: GOAL Middlesbrough 2-0 West Brom
Boro double their advantage and this time Szilard Nemeth sets up Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink for the simplest of tap ins.
Liverpool are playing absolutely crap football. The wrong team has turned up
Geordie Ahmed
23rd April 2005, 14:39
You think Liverpool are playing bad
Yeah. Like they did against Burnley, Soton and the Brum!
1534: GOAL Middlesbrough 3-0 West Brom
Szilard Nemeth and Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink link up for a third time. Hasselbaink's fierce effort from the edge of the area is parried into nemeth's path and he nods it home.

Down where?
We have had a poor season BUT we will not be relegated!!!!!
Also the reason what sets manure and us apart is the Supporters, St James Park will get 50000 year after year regardless of the mediocrity that gets served on the pitch!
Manure supporters however will desert their club! This is my vision of manure:
- Glazers takeover bid is sucessfull
- Glazers instantly has a massive loan therefore manure are in massive debt
- Manure cannot keep up with Chelskis financial clout
- Manure fail to win the league or Europe, Glazer wants his investment back, so he increases season ticket prices.
- A lot of fans will dissapear once the increases take place
- Glazer still needs more money so he has to sell his most valuable assets and in football they are the players. Rooney will go for 10mill, C.Ronaldive about 10 mill aswell, basically a Leeds will happen! they will have to sell their players for next to nothing
- Manure without any decent players will finish mid-table
- this is when their fans will dissapear, leaving only a few thousand to turn up
- manure will then hopefully be relegated the season after
- This should result them going into administration
- they will then get relegated once again
- They will have to sell their stadium to someone like Persil (leeds sold theirs to Lurpak)
AND all the above should hopefully happen within 6/7 years!
;)+ ;)+ ;)+ ;)+ ;)+ ;)+ ;)+
I'll be looking forward to that
Morientes is a bloody *******
1622: Dennis Rommedahl's mazy run on the left ends with a delightful shot from the outside of his right-foot but Norwich keeper Robert Green is equal to the challenge and saves well.

Rafa pays for playing the Tinkerman. We're badly missing Alonso and Garcia

Why is Alonso and Garcia not playing?
Alonso still not fully ready or other reasons?
Morientes misses a very good chance.
****ing son of a *****
The UEFA cup is ours next season!
Why is Alonso and Garcia not playing?
Alonso still not fully ready or other reasons?
Alonso is rested for the Chelsea game and so is Garcia (though I think he's also carrying a slight niggle). Rafa must be ruing the decision to not even put him on the bench.
Alonso is ten times as influential as Gerrard. I'd love to see Gerrard go for £30m+ though I doubt any1 would be stupid enough
is cisse on yet, you need to get him on hell rip through palace with his pace!
He's on but is playing on the right wing.
1634: Blackburn's Jon Stead has the best chance of the game at Ewood Park but David James saves his shot from the edge of the box at the second attempt.
Gerrard has been **** poor today just like the whole team
1637: Bolton sub Kevin Nolan blazes a shot over with Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen stranded in a melee of players.
Only players who have played well are:
S Finnan
D Cisse
JA Riise
Team selection today was an absolute farce!
Midfield:
Gerrard
Welsh
Le Tellac
*** was Biscan not played even if Alonso was rested?
1643: Danny Murphy's whipped free-kick from the left for Charlotn evades everyone and hits Robert Green's left-hand post.

Norwich break the deadlock at Carrow Road. Matthias Svensson volleys home after a bit of head tennis in the Charlton area.

1651: FULL-TIME Norwich 1-0 Charlton
The whistle goes at Carrow Road and the late winner makes it 10 points from 12 for the Canaries in their continuing fight against relegation.
What a result for Norwich!!

haahaha hitman!
GA ur goin down now anyway whatever!!!!!!!!
we'll see who be laughin then!
:)) :)) :)) :)) :)) :)) :)) :)) :))
We can all live in hope.
What makes that post even funnier is that it has come from the supporter of a club that is run like a circus, both on and off the pitch. Maybe he should check his own club's house is in order before coming up with these wishful fantasies.
I dont like Fat Fred BUT you cannot argue that we have a well run club!
The players on the pitch may behave in circus style BUT our club is in good shape! Our club will crumble if ppl stop coming to games BUT that is unlikely, we Geordies understand Loyalty and we will stick with our team through thick or thin!
Wasn't it Fat Fred who said Bobby Robson's job was safe in the summer and then decided to get rid of him after a few bad games? If Robson was still there you might have been a top half side.
Didnt one of your players come out in public and call his manager a liar?
I am glad to hear that you Geordies stick by your team through thick and thin, because you'll experience a lot of the thin in the coming years. This season might be a good one comapred to the ones to come.
Fat Fred made a massive error and that was that he didnt ask Bobby to leave at the end of the previous season! Most fans agree that Bobby had done all he could and that he should have left! Bobby did a superb job for us BUT he was clearly losing control of the dressing room and it was the right decision to get rid of him!
Yes one of our players did and do you know where he is right now? Thats right he is playing in a lovely league against the likes of Livingstone, Dunfermline etc etc!
Yes we may well experience a lot of thins BUT this club is a major part of us and we will continue to support them!
WIY normally you talk a lot of sense BUT i cannot believe you would suggest Bobby Robson was overated! The guy managed in 4 countries AND he was Englands best manager since Ramsay!
Also dont forget that he didnt do too bad a job at Barca! Also Barca treated him like Cr@p, they threw him upstairs just months after he REJECTED the club he loves because he said he has to honour his contract (Thats the type of Guy he was)
Bobby Robson is one of the best managers to have graced the game AND if Rijkaard becomes half the manager he was then he will be a top manager!

he did buy woodgate didnt he and bramble is starting to look good now. He also bought in bernard and carr.
Geordie Ahmed
23rd April 2005, 22:22
He made some quality signings BUT he also made some rubbish one's like most managers!
nufc you have to look beyond that! he was a class manager, an average manager or an overated one does not manager in 4 different countries AND manages his nation team (being the best since Alf Ramsay)
Waqar's inswinging yorker
23rd April 2005, 22:23
he is a very good manager but not great IMO - in barca he did OK - with the side we had there we should have won more - we won cup winners cup and league cup with him.
Geordie Ahmed
23rd April 2005, 22:59
WIY how long was he Barcelona manager????
He won the Dutch title twice with PSV (and nurtured a certain footballer called Ronaldo)
He went to sporting, got sacked after losing the Uefa Cup final BUT they were top of the league :L? :L? :L? :L?
Became manager of Porto, then won the domestic cup beating SAporting :))) :))) :))) :))) :))) He also won the League with Porto twice
He then went to Barca, won the European Cup Winners Cup, Spanish Cup and Spanish super cup. He also signed Ronaldo. Barca finished 2nd in the league!
Barca then moved him upstairs and then employed Van Gaal
All of the above is not achieved by and OVERATED manager! You dont go to different countries where you have to adopt the culture/language and be successfull by being OVERATED!
Also another important impact he had on football was JOSE MOURINHO who learnt from Bobby Robson!

I know Van Gaal did a good job after him BUT i thought it was shocking how they moved him upstairs - ESPECIALLY when 6 5 months earlier he REJECTED the club he loves cos he is an honourable man! Things could well have been different if he signed for us back then, instead Dalglish destroyed us big time! ah well, gotta look forward!
Also Bobby offered Mourinho a job as an assistant at Newcastle in 2000 BUT Mourinho said he wanted a managers job!

I think more footy players should adopt his approach - far too many miserable barstewards out there

The funny thing is that was a patched up Newcastle side BUT we played superbly! you did not outclass us, it was an even contest! Just open your eyes and look at the players we were missing, im well proud of the effort the players put in today! We had Carr playing as a Defensive midfielder, we had no genuine Centre Midfielders on the pitch BUT we did very well!
If i was a manure fan (thank god im not) then i would be worried BECAUSE most teams in the prem would beat you, like Norwich and Everton showed lately! You were fortunate to have played us in a short period of time WHEN we are having a nightmare with injuries

Poor performance from United against such an average side. First half was pathetic, we didn't create anything. We only got back into the game because of a piece of magic. If we play like we did today against a half decent side, the most we'll get is a draw. Improvement is needed in the midfield asap.
Now I hope Malaga win tonight.

Newcastle Fan excuses???? You are confusing them with the Prawn Sandwich brigade!
I have clearly stated that there was not much to separate the two teams, im sure you would agree with that! Rooney doesnt score a spectacular goal like that every day!
BTW we had injuries and this is why im proud of the job the boys did!
Robbie Elliot hardly played a game all season and now he played 2 on the trot whilst carrying a head injury!
Andy O'Brien is an awful defender who never be playing if Bramble, Hughes or Taylor were fit! Can you imagine manure playing without their 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice Centre Back????
Peter Ramage prior to this game had never played more than 30mins and he was forced to play cos of injuries, he didnt do too badly!
Steven Carr who has played in RB for the best part of 10 years was forced to play in Central Midfield!
We had a 18 year old, a 19 year old and a 21 year old in Midfield!
The 18 year old is still settling in to British football.
The 19 year old until recently hardly played many games.
The 21 year old hadnt played for most of the season until the last match where he came on for 15mins AND all these guys were told to do a job against Roy Keane and Giggs!!!!!!

Well Terry McDermott said that Bellamy abused a Senior player when he joined AND for that reason alone he will NEVER be welcome back!
