The tournament will start once everyone is out of the cup. The latest we will start is week 4. It is week 1 this week.

we have decided that the home team will be the team who has the biggest stadium capacity. the reason for this is that this means both teams will get more gate receipts as a result. if both teams play in a 20 000 capacity stadium, then both will recieve about 6000k each whereas if the play in a 6500 capacity, they both only recieve 1000k each.

Don't be so sure about that :). Wait till I get my top players playing the game. After todays update, many of my players improved a lot. I got 2 players in the 7,000 BT rating. One of the games you beat me on was a T20 and in the other I played my openers in the lower order and used a bowler I have never tried before.

I guess the only way to settle this is to beat you on the field, so I will be awaiting our first round match. I plan to go all the way to the finals and if I don't get to the semis I will be very disappointed. Someone is going to get fired that day.

Ok here is my take. The tournament should go ahead as schedule. Those people who want a break for their team, should surrender a bye whenever they think the need for it.

At the start of the tournament the deal was that the player with the most capacity with be the host. That should stand. Only one guy has been moaning through out the tournament in every capacity there is. If i were the organizer I would have done something about it.

i think you misunderstood what i was trying to say, right now 3 teams have 3 wins and 3 teams have 2 wins and 1 loss now if those teams with 3 wins win 2 and lose 2 of there next 4 matches they will in total have 5 wins and 2 defeats and will end up with 10 points in the super six stage now if the other teams teams win 3 and lose 1 they will also have won in total 5 games and lost 2 but they will have 12 points. so myself hasbeen and bigdaddy would have won 5 games in total and be on 10 points and izee shayan and vegitto would have won 5 games but been on 12 points. i hope that explains better what i was trying to say.

by the way sean, for example i beat vegitto and kamran beat shayan. does that run rate go through to next round. As run rate will play a part in super six so it should be counted.

for example if my overall run rate just against vegitto was erm 0.62, then that should go through to next round just like it did in cricket world cup. so table at the moment should look like this

kamran 4pts 0.45
bd 4pts 0.60
hasbeen 4pts 0.35
zeeshan 0pts -0.60
shayan 0pts - 0.45
vegitto 0pts -0.35

ie the run rate agasint the team you beat in grp stge should only be counted and not the run rate against teams that failed to make it

Basically, if from now you award 4 points for a win, the two points they got in the beginning basically are negated because if I win one more game then BD then I am thru, though it should really depend on the NRR between us.

Well you are starting with 4 points, so isn't that good enough? Or else its really impossible for the bottom 3 to make it anywhere if we put NRR into play.

I did six for this reason.

We make it so BD scores a run a ball. So he end up with 300 from 50 overs.
Then because Vegitto can't bat he doesn't get a score. So it's 300/50 - 0/50 = 6.

I say leave Vegitto in the tournament. As regards to NRR, it remains the same, unchanged. The same formula applies. You faced 0 bowls and scored 0 runs so your net run rate remains unchanged. That is the fairest way, plus this is what happens in world cups and such when teams forfeit.
