well done, what sort of a skill level would a 17 year old need to get in the squad?

All 17yo respectables will be tracked but I would say mid level respectables, or low respectables with good secondaries.

Caliban, how can you tell if they are low or mid? Do you have like a calculator, or a popping thing that tells you? Please reply ASAP, because I have to go.

Same here, the highest I've seen are proficient.
Well, I don't think players with Respectable batting would get in. They'd need atleast Strong.

Chaudhury certainly has a chance, he is low respectable but the high conc makes up for that. Etheshamuddin is unlikely to make the squad, in the past competent youth pulls have been good enough but the standards are improving. Its better for you team to focus on Chaudhury as the better prospect and reduce Etheshamuddin nets, freeing them up for other trainees.
I've added Chaudhury to the online database and you'll be contacted periodically to check on his progress, although you're very welcome to mail me and post here when any of skills increase.

I very much doubt it. I think they have to be quality or higher.
17yo players this season wouldn't make the squad until they're 19, by which time they'd need to be at least quality.
Chances are I will only be calling up remarkable or better 19yo batsmen this season (and superb or quality 18yo's)

Yes, but not until next season. Not possible to rank the first season with the players too closely matched.

make the graph full screen, then you should see at the bottom of the screen info calc data click on calc from there just input your players current stats into the top left hand section aand the nets in the middle section and you should get your results at the bottom

india look in trouble they havent even picked a player yet
Caliban

India aren't the only ones, but there isn't any benefit from picking players early in fact its better to leave it late just in case a new player emerges at the last minute - provided you have a good idea of the provisional squad and stay on top of PFL management.
