waheed - i had calendar sorted - can transfers stay on 15th - only fair bhai - otherwise i ruined by teams points plus will unbalance rest of the calendar - PLZ, i may have to do a syed and cry - that may get me somehwere - bhai - it was the original plan to have transfers after windies/sa odi's - for symmetry

We need to sort out the transfer date for the next month.

Look my argument is that we can't have transfer date in the middle of the month, when some matches in the month will have pts from old players and some pts will have pts from the new players...

We are starting a NEW quarterly competition and it is not right that 1 week and 3 odi games in to the competition, there is a transfer period.

The natural break point was before the start of the ODI series between WI v SA.

The program I have written also is based on months, and accumulates players points over the month, by splitting the month and having 2 separate team lineups it will mess it up.

If you can indicate to me where you have said that the transfer window will be "after the conclusion of the WI v SA series", then I will be happy to go along with the 16th May, but it is fairer for all concerned to have it before the ODI series starts.

You also need to show your plan so that everyone is aware when the each transfer period starts, how long it lasts for and when it ends.

If we can't agree to a transfer date, we will have to put it to the vote.
Is that fair?

Also note that there isn't going to be much cricket in the next 4 months (except for the Ashes) so we might want a longer cycle

Have the deadline after the Windies v SA 4th test and before the 1st ODI. Then people can change their ODI team so that it means they can get points from the games. I bet most people have ind and pak players in their ODI teams.

Personally think closest to end of month should be chosen.
Geordie can't have 30th WI v SA 4th Test is starting tomorrow, with all the confusion 28th would probably have been the best date for this month.

ZM, it is not about whether you are busy or not. It is about principles and what we agreed to at the time and trying to be fair as possible to all.

Also you don't have to wait till the end of the transfer period, you can make your transfers now, it is just that the Transfers do not take effect untill the start of the new period.

Well he should of told us he was going to change transfer dates when i say us i mean EVERYONE taking part. It is WIY being unsporting not telling us about this, giving him an advantage in this competition.

I'm not happy. Last monthe I was busy and late by a day ot 2 asked waheed for transfer and he said no. Now they are changing the transfer daate from end of mothe to mid month. I'm not happy with policy at all. I might puul my team out oin protest.

I think in future the rules shud be made clear, all the transfer dates should be listed so that everyone can pick their team accordingly!
