This footage was then sent to RAI this year by someone anonymous. This was shown on tv today and I captured it.since the clip is with no sound (sry dont know whats wrong with the sound)here's an explenation of what is said:
he (Cannavaro) keeps saying "a final of the uefa cup-thats how its played..."
u can lip read him :"Un finale di coppa uefa"
when the medicine is shown cannavaro explains what they are and the guy on the bed asks cannavaro if its safe.(u can see him turning his head to ask him). cannavaro says yeah everrything under control. then he shows where the injection is going to be. when thee doctor inserts the injection cannavaro says "aaaa i feel better" hehe
then the guy who switches on the tv checks to see any news about Marseille and cannavaro keeps asking about the Marseille coach.
the man with the no.16 shorts is just messing around and having some fun nothing special..
CANNAVARO IS SHOWN AND HE TALKS TO THE PERSON WHO IS FILMING. OTHER PEOPLE IN THE ROOM ARE CENSORED BUT CANNAVARO ISN'T

Cannavaro doping claim
From correspodents in Rome
April 29, 2005
ITALIAN captain Fabio Cannavaro was shown in a TV documentary this morning (AEST) apparently being administered a drug.
The program, Punto e a capo on state broadcaster RAI, showed Cannavaro, who plays for Juventus but at the time was at Parma, allegedly being injected with the drug neoton, a creatine phosphate used in cardiac surgery. The drug, which protects the heart, is not on the banned list of substances but is understood to be dangerous with continued use.
The video footage of Cannavaro was taken on May 11, 1999 in a Moscow hotel room on the eve of the final with French club Marseilles.
The Naples-born defender is seen joking with club doctors and talking about the game before lying on a bed and having a needle stuck into his arm.
Parma won the match 3-0 to lift the UEFA Cup for a second time.
In November 2004, a six-year judicial inquiry into doping at Juventus came to an end when club doctor Riccardo Agricola was found guilty of giving players performance-enhancing drugs, including neoton, between 1994 and 1998.
During that period Juventus won three Italian league titles and the European Cup.
The inquiry was prompted by Lecce coach Zdenek Zeman who, while in charge at Roma, accused Juventus of giving drugs to its players to speed up muscle growth.
One thing though. Even the footage is rather shocking. He isn't doing anything wrong, is he? Because that drug is not illegal

Its no big deal. The guy didn't even take an illegal substance so I don't know what the hype is about.
Players like Frank de Boer and Josep Guardiola have actually been caught taking illegal substances. Players like this are a real disgrace to the game.
Cannavaro is not. He is a great player.

Argentina and Inter Milan midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron said he appeared in the film in which his former Parma team mate Fabio Cannavaro is seen using a drip on the eve of the 1999 UEFA Cup final.
"You can see me, I was in the room," Veron told an Argentine radio station. "But you can't see that I did anything."
Juan Sebastian VeronThe film, shown on Italian state broadcaster RAI Due's current affairs programme "Full Stop and From the Top", shows Cannavaro, then a Parma player, relaxing in his hotel room the evening before the UEFA Cup final against Olympique Marseille in Moscow which the Italian club won 3-0.
The Italian international, who now plays for Juventus, is shown inserting a drip into his arm which his lawyer confirmed contained Neoton, a drug used in cardiac surgery to protect the heart that is not on the World Anti Doping Agency's list of banned substances.
Veron said Neoton use is common. "It's used when there are a lot of matches in a short space of time and it helps you recover more quickly," he said.
"We had just played the final of the Italian Cup, I think it was two or three days earlier, plus there was the journey to Russia. Some players decided to make use of this, which is also something the doctor knows about."
Veron, who is now on the books of English premier league side Chelsea but has been on loan to Inter Milan all season, added: "All the teams use it.
"It is something that is used and has been used and to do so is firstly a decision of the player and then the doctor."
He said the video did not make pleasant viewing.
"It doesn't look good because you see when the doctor ****** his arm and it's not something which is nice to see. Also, the television puts on that background music and a whole ambiance which has nothing to do with it."
