View Full Version : Battrick Pakistan U19 needs help.
Anyone intrested in pulling youth Player for Pakistan U19. We have good enough time to to pull a 35 ITS player now and trained him for next season for Pakistan U19.
At the moment the problem is that in Pakistan most of the player do not play after one season and hence all good U19 player get dissolved once their team reset or takken over by someone else.
Anyone who is sure to play Battrick in long run can help. If anyone ready please let me know. We will try to make a strategy for player training.
At the moment we are not been able to find U19 bowlers for Pakistan.
It is very hurting to see Pakistan on bottom 4 in U19 and at the last place in International Ranking.

Yea I am gonna make two pulls at the beginning of next season. Hopefully one of them will come up with respectable batting, with decent stamina and concentration.
Well if you want to train Youth for PAK U19. I think pulling youth at the end of the season will only waste time. If you want to sell them then you better pulling them at the end of the season.

And to get him a place in U19 you need to train him with 2XBowling Nets, 1XFeilding and 1XFitness for the rest of the season.
If you are ready to do so please let me know i will ask Berge to add him in our scouting list for next season.

Can you tell me what kind of nets I should give him? I have him on one each for batting, bowling, fielding and fitness. I don't have any other nets available. I expect a pop in batting real soon. Can you tell me a long term strategy for him? Should I focus on batting or bowling or both?

Dude, you should give up on Joey Allen and give this guy 2 bat, 2 bowl, 1 field, and 1 fitness.
He'll be amazing in 3 seasons! Then again, he is an allrounder, so I guess he really doesn't need 2 bats and 2 bowl.

3 more weeks and Joey Allen will be proficient. I am waiting till that happens. I desperately need some proficient bowlers and he is closest to it. I will then put those nets on Imranullah. How many weeks left in the season?

I am not sure. If Joey Allen becomes proficient then sell him.

I don't know if I want to sell him right now. The whole reason why I bought him was so that I could get one bowler who I could train to be proficient. Plus looking at the PP tournament, my weakest area is my bowling, in fact I don't have any respectable bowlers at all, only relying on competents. Imranullah is never fit enough to play any games plus he will be getting more nets so I really need Joey Allen to come up good in his bowling and start delivering. Lets see what happens next season, if my first few youth pulls are good then I might sell Joey.
Bro Munis..First you need to decide what you want in your team. Training for both Bowling and Batting will not work as to perform in both you need to have high stamina which itself need 2 nets of fitness per week for 5 weeks to upgrade one level. and giving him more then 5 nets will not work. So try to train stamina in off season where you are not require to play matches.
I guess you need a bowler so here is my suggestion for nets for this player.
2XBowling + 2XFeilding and if during the season if you have any free nets add 1XBatting and 1XFitness once a while (Not every Week)
I hope that you all know how training timing and primary and secondary works. But just like to mention how things work for others who dont know this.
For a good Batsmen:
Primary: Batting
Secondary: Concentration
For a good Bowler:
Primary: Bowling
Secondary: Consistancy
If your player do not have good secondary he will not perform well. Like for batsmen he will not score big innings and for bowler he will not mintain good line and will be expansive in his spell.
Offcourse Feilding & Stamina will add more stars in a player. For a fast bowler Stamina is required other wise he will be lacl luster in his second spell.
Now Training:
Primary skills - Batting / Bowling
The following table shows how many nets a 17yo - 23yo player requires to go up a whole level in the skill of Batting or Bowling.
Nets 17 18 19 20 21 22 23
Batting 11.0 12.4 14.0 15.7 17.5 19.4 21.4

Weeks at 3 nets 6.5 7.3 8.2 9.2 10.3 11.4 12.6
Secondary skills - Consistency & Concentration
The following table shows how many nets a player requires to go up a whole level in the skill of Concentration or Consistency.
To receive secondary skill training, you must have Sport Psychologists (5-7 optimal).
Concentration training is only received if you are training batting or keeping or fielding.
Consistency training is only received if you are training bowling or keeping or fielding.
It is possible to improve the amount of secondary training your player receives by training the player in 2-3 complimentary skills. (eg. training a batsman in batting, keeping and fielding will increase his concentration a lot faster than training him with a batting net only)

i dont agree with giving him 2 fielding nets as the 2nd net is a waste of time, your better off using that net as a fitness net, also none of the players mentioned above have any chance of getting into the under 19s as there primary levels are too low, too have a chance they would need to be atleast halfway through proficent.

I know that.
You dont get remarkable or Proficient YP. You have to train them for a Season or two to earn him a place in U19. This thread is for the serious Battrick Players who are in for a long run and at the same time ready to train atleast one youth (17yrs Old) for saeson or two for U19.
Unlike other ENG, AUS, NZ etc Pakistan has a very small pool of players as most of the Pakistani Battrick user leave Battrick either during theri first season or by the end of the season which make BT to re-arrange their lineup with new players and a new manager and hence all the good youth goes into vain. So any one in for long run must try to train atleast one YP for U19.
This is the only way we can increase our player pool and get rid of that Pathetic bottom ranking in international arena.

The Pakistan NT side is ranked 8th I believe but the U19s are ranked 6th at the moment.
We don't have enough 19yo bowlers at the moment but we are well set for U19 players for next season's squad, you'd need to talk to Barge to get an idea for the season after (the current 17yo's) but I don't think we have major concerns at the moment.
Everyone should be planning to save up ITS with the aim of reaching 100 by the end of the season, so that you can do 3 35 ITS youth pulls at the start of next season. It's not worth putting any ITS into youth pulls now.

As Kamran has said 17yo U19 prospects need to be proficient with good secondaries, or strong by now to have a chance of making the squad. So don't pile nets onto a respectable or competent player it's a waste of effort.

Stick with your plan, those 4 nets are fine. Definately worth training batting and bowling, allrounders are vital in BT.

Just wanted to make this abundantly clear, he has no chance of making the squad regardless of what nets he got.
The majority of U19 batsmen or bowlers get 3 x primary, 1 fitness and 1 fielding btw.
