Kaneria is a world class proven leg spinner who can dimiss the best batsmen in the world. Afridi isnt! People said Qadir couldnt play odis or Mushy, both who were a lot more attacking than Danish. lets see how they done:

Amit why dont you look at Afridi's recent stats, say the past 15/20 games! its no point looking at his career stats because they are from a broad time period and its really recently when he has done well with the ball AND he is bowling like a specialist spinner at the moment!

so a bit of good form makes him better than Kaneria who is one of the best spinners in the world? Look, the value of a specialist spinner is there for all to see. And I looked at the other guys over their career! so i am not changing it to suit Afridi. It seems he has to be in the team at all costs.

Gary dont forget that Afridi is much better than Kaneria as a fielder! he concedes many runs whilst Afridi saves a lot, in TESTS you can get away with it BUT in ODI's every run is crucial!

Different forms of cricket requires different cricketers.

Afridi is currently justifying his place with some excellent performances.

Gary i and most ppl do care though, the ODI game is different to TESTS! you need players who can field , atleast half well, Danish unfortunately doesnt. this is another reason that Kamal doesnt play for the ODI side!

yes GA. Like SA, they get u so far but when u need that little bit extra to win the really really big games they come up short. Woolmer's tenure as Pak coach is same as when he was with SA.

sorry gary but afridi is doing a really good job with the ball ! in odi cricket !

Funny how you forget his spell in holland and in india for the jubilee game. Also in this series he has done well. not to mention the way he has batted last few games.....

funny how u forget how good qadir, mushy and saqi were, they were deadly for Pakistan! Harmison was like this in tests and u all jumped on the bandwagon but I held my ground! thats the nature of me PP.
