There seems to be a lot of people selecting invalid teams, because they have too many STAR players, category A and B.

1. You need to use the Player Lists in conjuction with the online form to help you select your team.

It is not possible to have

BAT1 Hayden
BAT2 Tendulkar
BAT3 Lara
BAT4 Ponting
BAT5 Haq
WKT Gilchrist
AllR Kallis
BOW Mcgrath
BOW Gillispie
BOW Warne
BOW Murilithan

This would be great for a DREAM team but in the Fantasy world they are ALL RATED as A, and you can only select a maximum of 2 players of Category A.

So you have to use a bit of your cricket knowledge and become a selector, to decide who you are going to select as your 2 Category A players, and there are many too choose from.

Just a small hint most of the regular Australians are A.

Each Fantasy Team Must have

4 nations represented in them at ALL times
Maximum of 2 Category A players
Maximum of 3 Category B players
Maximum of 4 Category C players

Each Fantasy Team Must comprise off
5 Batsmen
1 Allrounder
1 Wicket-Keeper
4 Bowlers

Created a new list of players to help you select your teams, this time grouped by categories: a, b, c, d.

So there should be no excuses for having 4 players from category A etc...

a : World Star ---- max 2 players

b : International Star ---- max 3 players

c : Domestic Star ---- max 4 players

d : Squad Player --- no max

waheed - how do we know which is odi and test - does ur system pick that up?

WIY, It does in the database it stores the details for match type.
I have updated the e-mail script to include the match type details aswell.

I have also written a confirmation screen which displays the category and countries for each player selected, so people can check there teams before finally submitting them.

Hopefully this will prevent invalid teams
