Quite possibly the biggest the biggest domestic match in Britain ever!
So much at stake- The Legendary Liverpool side...one of the most successful sides in European history take on the new kids on the block, Chelsea...the newly croned Premiership Champions for 2004-05!
Its off to Anfield in 24 hours.....to witness the 1st English team to qualify for the Final since 1999.
Predictions?
Well Chelsea technically start 1/2 goal up (with the away goals rule). Chelsea dont need to win...any score draw will do.
I think Liverpools are going to miss Alonso big time.
Our only hope is a 0-0 after extra time and penalties.

Benitez predicts Liverpool glory
Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has told Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho to forget about adding the Champions League trophy to their Premiership title.
"Jose is one of the best coaches and he has a very good team, sure, but they will lose on Tuesday," said Benitez.
"Chelsea have the most expensive team in the world and a good manager. But we have our supporters and Chelsea do not hold the balance, it is 50-50.
"We say well done for the league, but sorry as you will not win this cup."
Benitez believes captain Steven Gerrard will be crucial to his side's chances of success, as well as a vocal Anfield crowd.
They have spent a lot of money and are expected to succeed in this competition
He added: "In my opinion, Steve will be the key player for us. He can change a game and you saw against Middlesbrough on Saturday the kind of goals he can score.
"I am sure he will play well. He knows that the supporters are behind him and he is the key player. He is fantastic, he can change the game.
"We will try to do our job, play as well as possible and to win. After watching my team and how they train, and seeing their faces, I have confidence in them.
"It is not easy to contain Chelsea, ask Barcelona and Bayern Munich. But with our supporters behind us I believe we can win.
"We have the best supporters in England and now we must show that we have the best supporters in Europe."
Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes the fact that Chelsea have spent £213m on players in the last two years means the pressure is on them to go through.
"All the pressure is on Chelsea. They have spent a lot of money and are expected to succeed in this competition," said Carragher.
"Don't forget Claudio Ranieri got sacked for getting to the semi-finals of this tournament last year.
"The only pressure on us is the pressure we are putting on ourselves.
"We have respect for what they have achieved. They have won the Premiership and that's a difficult thing to do but we can stop them in their tracks.
"Chelsea were very strong favourites before the first leg but we got a good result and now they are only slight favourites. We have bridged the gap.
"You don't know when you will get to this stage of the competition again and we want to get to the final."

Liverpool will be without the suspended midfielder Xabi Alonso so Dietmar Hamann looks set to recover from injury in time to replace the Spaniard.
Alonso's punishment comes after he was booked in the goalless first leg.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is expected to welcome back Arjen Robben and Damien Duff to the team.
Robben is still not 100% fit following an ankle injury and missed Chelsea's title winning game at Bolton on Saturday, but seems set to feature.
Hamann played only the final 10 minutes of the 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough at the weekend - his first action after missing eight matches.
Harry Kewell completed his full 90 minutes since mid-December following groin problems and is also expected to play.
Manager Rafael Benitez rested Milan Baros, Djimi Traore, Sami Hyypia, Igor Biscan and Luis Garcia against Boro, but all will return to face Chelsea.
Mauricio Pellegrino and Fernando Morientes are cup-tied, while Spanish full-back Josemi is still struggling with an ankle injury following a reserve comeback last week and is out for a further 10 days.
Robben, who has played only about an hour's football for Chelsea since the first of a series of foot injuries suffered on 2 February.
The 21-year-old winger missed Saturday's Championship winning match at Bolton.
Duff is manager Jose Mourinho's other worry and he missed both the first leg and the Bolton match after tweaking a hamstring.
William Gallas, a central defender drafted in to play left back after Wayne Bridge's broken ankle in February, is playing with a back strain.

No one has fought harder than Liverpool in this years tournament...from the qualifuying games...to Stevie G's late late show at Anfield...then the stunning 1st half display v Juventus...and holding them 0-0 on their patch!
Raf is a genius. He has bought well...and will get more $$$ for next season...hopefully Baros and otherwasters will move on to be replaced by those who wish to play for the badge.

In the summer liverpool need to sell baros and dudek and bring in a new striker and goalkeeper and if they have some money left maybe a new centre back as well then. Centre middle is fine probably one of the best in europe might need to strengthen the wing players. They probably wont do this in the summer may take a few years but once they have they will be challenging be for the title again!

not necessarily nufc - u just need 16 top players - so bench players can have impact - ac milan use that, barca, juve etc etc
maybe but the premier league is more physical and there are often more injurys. They may beable to go all the way if they keep all the players fit but not likely!
I think Liverpool need to buy British...some of the best players in the Prem this year have been English (Lampard, J Cole, Terry, Carragher, Gerrard etc)
They show a passion for their clubs that is difficult to buy abroad...look at Drogba/Veron/Reyes etc

Not only did we qualify (with his goal)...we get to the final!!!!!

Those that mock Liverpool...have no arguments!
We are 5th (a poor 5th) in the Premiership...and the table doesnt lie. We have lost 13 Prem games this season. Its a poor squad overall...a lot of time wasters in there...a lot of ordinary players happy to pick up their pay cheques.
Champions Lg...different propositiuoin...Rafa has SINGLE handedly inspired some ordinary players (Traore/Biscan) to look like world beaters in Europe..its a different empo, diff speed, and Rafa knows whats what in Europe.
A mass clear-out WILL take place for next season...and players will WANT to come to Anfield.

I have the perfect solution for the 4th place poser if Liverpool win the CL and Everton/Bolton finish 4th....
Let Bolton/Everton qualify as 4th place...as per the rules....and if Liverpoon win, let them go, and BAN Inter Milan for their disgraceful behaviour in the 1/4 finals.
It makes sense.

I personally dont want Liverpool to win cos i want Everton to get the CL spot BUT i applaud and congratulate the effort they have put in getting there! Over the 2 legs they were clearly the better team.
UEFA have told Liverpool that if they win the CL, they will get to keep the trophy!

i been playing footy for past 3/4 hours!!
If we win, we get to keep the trophy as by the rules and as it looks almost certain now that we can't qualify for the CL through the CL then let's give it our all in the league.
Everton's games: Newcastle, Arsenal, Bolton
Liverpool's games: Arsenal, Aston Villa
There is still a slight chance. For starters, we need some help from the Toon.
