Well the FC matches are coming up .... post thought here.
What will you be concerntrating more on ? OD or FC ?

Ill be concerntrating more on my OD games, I think I think Ill mind more about getting promoted in an OD league than get relegated in the FC league. Its 3 days right ? It matters how good my leagues are which decide on my teams.

I still haven't really thought about it. I would have to see once it starts what it is like and how my players do. I am planning to play the high consistency players in the FC which will leave crappier players for the OD.

with sb winning my league chances are that next season i could play my reserves and still win my odi league so with that in mind ill be focusing on fc next season.

What are you guys doing to prepare for it?

I personally, am very worried about this form of the game. I seriously think I am VERY screwed.

I have a squad of 18, two of which will not be able to play due to training. The others, I am more or less happy with playing in my First XI.

But, I don't know, which one to focus on? I mean, also getting promoted, its gonan be a tough season. I am thinking to mostly put my efforts in OD, and put my high stamina players in FC, and the rest my worst of the 18.

Who knows, maybe FC won't affect PFL that much...

For me it will depend on how tough my league is for FC... If its easier ill spread my focus, but if its hard im def. going to focus on OD, because me league for that is unbelievably easy.

Well I think all of us are screwed in FC.

As you probably know, we are going to be all squashed in with the top 2-3 divisions. They are coming down and the top divisions are going to be full of bots at first. But after a couple of seasons, it will be just like the OD league.

First Class Games Have Arrived!!
As promised, BT-allanfc said there was to be announcement today with regards to next season, so here it is.
Read more ...
First of all lets talk first class (FC games). Your first FC fixture will start on Tuesday 25th September, ie Tuesday in Week 2. The games will last 3 days with 110 overs play each day. We will shortly be updating the rules page to include some information on the FC games so that you will know what you are doing! Your FC league will be different from your OD league and drawn on a semi-random basis, based on your current OD league position and level.

Secondly, there has been a fair bit of speculation and ideas surrounding team fitness levels (TFL). The decision has been made that from next season, TFL will no longer exist. You will still have the same match options to TIE or GFI, but instead of this affecting your TFL, it will now affect the PFL losses during the match. Again, we will be updating the rules to give you more information on this, but the basics are that a GFI will increase PFL loss by about 50% and a TIE will decrease the PFL loss by around 30%.

Thirdly, we are going to make some expansions to our existing countries league structures. Australia will get a grade VI that is the same size as England has currently, South Africa will get a grade V, and Englands grade VI will be doubled in size. This will obviously mean that only the top 2 finishing teams will be eligible for promotion, as opposed to the top 4 at present.

Finally, we'd like to give you a little information about what is going to be happening over the next week or so as we change seasons.

Week 1 of season 8 starts on Saturday 15/9
Week 1 Sunday, 16/9: Cup is drawn, players age.
Week 1 Monday, 17/9: Promotion/Relegation occurs, FC leagues arranged, FC & OD league fixtures arranged, first youth pull available
Week 2 starts on Saturday 22/9
Week 2 Sunday 23/9: First Cup games
Week 2 Monday 24/9: last BT20 game from current competition
Week 2 Tuesday 25/9: First FC fixtures
Week 2 Friday 28/9: First OD league Fixtures.

oh wow! after a terrible first innings, my boys have performed really well! Good bowling by the boys and then a good stand by my openers in the second innings. I now have my second victory in my FC league and stand at number 3. Would never have thought this possible before, I have the worst team in the league.

My match is going for a draw, and I am very, very pleased with that. I was against a tougher team on my home ground, so I prepared a batting wicket, and put them on bat. They batted the first 108 overs and scored 430 all out. I got freaked out when my opener got out on the first ball, but the other batsmen handled the situation very well. They all played positive and aggressive cricket and scored 6+ runs off their main bowlers' overs. Even my bowler with worthless batting scored a fifty. :))) At the end of the day, we are 500/6 and tommorow I am going to declare my innings at 530 with the lead of 100, and who knows I might be able to win...
