View Full Version : Dodging the Lie Detector

Imagine you have killed someone and are now being questioned wired to a lie detector, how would you dodge it, or at least try to?

Either be calm and strong, making things sound like truth that actually aren't?

Or make everything sound like a lie, even the things that are true, by believing they did not happen, so that the questioners cannot distinguish and/or lose trust in the machine?

Which would be easier to do, which route would you take?

second one sounds easier to do.

There have been many cases were the defendants lawyers have been able to disallow lie detector tests as evidence because they show that the defendant was not in a proper mental condition for the test to be accurate. I suppose the second method is what would allow you to make such a claim.

You pinch yourself or jab your leg with a needle wheenevr they ask you a question you are answering trulky, especially when they ask your control questions like confirming your name.

Your readings will be heightened and will make your anxiety levels when lying harder to differentiate from background truths.
