16 days to the start of the Twenty/20 World Cup in South Africa.

We continue our countdown with this fact - Andrew Flintoff has 16 one day international fifties.

Flintoff should be one of the great entertainers in the forthcoming event - a player who can of course singlehandidly win a game with either bat or ball.

Today is the day Symonds hit 16 sixes in a domestic game at Abergavenny (been there, not that great. Only one Cafe Nero in the entire town which closes at 4PM!)

Another great entertainer.

Sachin Tendulker arguebly the best batsmen to played the game.

In 1998 Tendulker in 34 matches scored 1894 in a calender year with an average of 65.31 with a top score of 143

Now...

(matches x average) / top score = 15.5282517.... to the nearest whole number that equals 16

No. equation...

(34 x 65.31) / 143 = 15.5282517.... nearest whole number equals 16
