What a player and still only young.

Vision, skill, passing ability, tremendous shot on him, can put in a tackle, brilliant work rate and now has added goalscoring to his game.

What a player !

Great player , scored a clever goal against Sevilla which we beat 3-0

and now scored to make it 5-0 against derby

He has alot of experience scoring from 18-30 yards .

" as wenger said I don't buy stars I'll make stars"
and Fabregras could be the next one.

He made his debut at age of 16 and arsenal fans had a song for him :-

Hes only 16 and hes better than roy keane.

Alot of pundits said it would be a bigger loss if arsenal lost Cesc rather than henry!

Thats so true..... hes getting better and better and could become a world class star!

Exceptional player, amazing creativity and vision, totally dictates the rhythm of play. Spain have two little gems in him and iniesta who i rate even higher.

Yup. That the amazing thing about Fabregas. he always seems to make the right decision: whether its a short pass, a long pass, a dribble, a shot. His vision is Zidane-like. Its sensational. Reminnds me of the Romanian Hagi, and of Hoddle in his latter days. Playmakers supreme.

(And he stands out ven more copared to the likes of Walcott, who somehow has zero vision and more often than not manages to take the wrong option).

He is doing what Ronaldo did for us last season and I think that is why Arsenal is number one.You need that one player to lead your team like Ronyn did for us and now you got Cesc stepping up and taking the mantle from Henry.

Here we go again:

1353: Manchester United kick off the second half. No changes as yet.

1354: GOAL Arsenal 1-1 Manchester United
Edwin van der Sar saves well from Emmanuel Adebayor but the ball comes out to Cesc Fabregas who takes his time before finishing into the corner.

Worth his weight in gold, indeed!

He's come from nowhere to reach the heights this season ... what a great scalp by Arsene Wenger!!! If he can stay injury free and fit, there is a lot of potential in him.

For me, at this moment in time he is quite simply the best midfielder in the world.

Amazing season - to all those Arsenal fans that said Henry was cramping his style....man, they were right!

See quite a lot of Arsenal this season - he's been phenomenal. He said some great things about Gerrard last week after the Liverpool game - as did Carragher about him.

Like Saj says - is there a better player than him at the moment?

Yes there is. I can name atleaset five midfielders:

Kaka
Iniesta
Diego
Riquelme(when he plays)
Ribery

ont get me wrong, i think fabregas is an excellant player but he definately is NOT the best. His vision and passing is as good as anybodys. He is the best midfielder in the premiership at the moment but i think anderson could eventually overtake him.

The guy is pure class, he is only 20 and will only improve, in a few years he will be the best midfielder in the world no doubt but still one of the best at the moment.

Care to explain why not?

Care to explain why not?

well simply that those players mentioned (bar Kaka) are not playing as good as he is at this moment.
I have seen plenty of Iniesta this season and he is a quality player BUT he isnt playing half as well as Fabregas is right now.
I am a massive fan of Diego, quality little player BUT his game is missing goals at the moment.
Riquelme, like you said when he plays he is quality when the goings good - tho even then he never quite dictates a game like Fabregas can and is doing so.
Ribery i admittedly havnt seen too much of BUT what i have seen has been impressive tho he hasnt scored many goals.

Iniesta for me, is the most complete footballer at barca. Obviously, he doesnt score as many as fabregas but he plays much deeper. The way he glides past players reminds me of zidane and he simply is technically more gifted than fabregas.
Goals arent everything otherwise we can say lampard has been the best midfielder in the world over the last 5 years. Diego, in his debut season in germany was player of the year and hes not much older than fabregas. He may not score as many goals this season as fabregas but he scores his fair share and assists many more.
You just cannont compare fabregas to riquelme when riquelme runs the show for argentina while fabregas struggles to get a game for spain.
I wont mention more of ribery till you see him play more but believe me he is special.
