Oh man what a blunder by me. My pitch had been set to dusty previously but I was not playing any spinners for this game. I decided to change it to green. unfortunately I did not have enough time and this match was played on a flat pitch. no wonder the score was close.

You are right. The pitch was dusty when I first looked at it, but before the match it was Flat, so I did some changes, and included one extra batsman. If the pitch have been different, I am sure I would have been all out under 100. :P

Won the match against Mohsin XI by 25 runs. It was a very good match. Good performance by both teams. Mohsin XI got a bit unlucky that his two batsmen got run out, specially the no.3 batsman who looked very dangerous, and one set batsman was given lbw wrongly. The commentary said that it's a big inside edge. Lol. The Mohsin XI's tail enders showed some resistance and put a partnership of 44 runs, but the run rate was already over 10. From my team, good batting by middle order again. Jackman, Bell, and Sarfraz. And good bowling by Hanna. The dude always seems to bowl well on batting wickets. Kept the things tight.

I am surprised my spinners were so rubbish on this track. They are normally good but here they went for more runs then anyone. What tactics do you use? set spinners to defensive?

It makes me wonder if I should play to my strengths or play according to conditions. I should have included an extra batsman but looking at the scorecard, it wouldn't have made a difference.

I don't really take notice of the pitch. I only see if its a batting or bowling pitch. Then I make the changes, but whether if its a dusty or a green I don't change my bowling lineup.
And I don't change my bowling tactics, no-matter what pitch, I keep them the same. Its been an ok tactic so far ! :D

oh man, I thought I had that game after my first innings score. I think a mistake I made was to have joey allen as first change bowling instead of opening with him. So yes, I am really excited about my semi final encounter. I never expected to get this far in the tournament as I really don't have that great a team as many others here. I didn't give this tournament much seriousness and I thought I would finish low in the super eights stage. But now after that unexpected victory in the quarter final, I am all fired up. I will be playing against iZee and I think our last game came closer then I had expected as well so I believe this time I could take him on. I have rested all my major players and they are almost at full fitness so I expect a good match in the semis. Of the 4 semi-finalist, I would think I am the worst rated of them all but now I am ready to fight for the win and I hope my strategies work out well.
