The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have confirmed they will be investigating the comments made by Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o during Los Cules' title celebrations.
During the celebrations in Catalunya the Cameroonian striker addressed the crowd, during which he called arch-rivals Real Madrid 'bas****s'.
Eto'o has already issued an apology, saying: "I never wanted to show any lack of respect to anyone.
"What happened was that in a moment of joy I started to sing and that was all. I beg forgiveness and hope that people will understand me."
Real captain Raul has stated that he should be forgiven for the act.
"People have been talking a lot about Eto'o in the last couple of days," Raul said.
"I think he was wrong, but he quickly rectified the situation and we all need to stop talking about this now.
"He explained what happened and in a moment of celebration things can be said that are not always good for the game and because people lack some respect.
"But we all make mistakes and he set an example by immediately asking everyone to forgive him."
However, RFEF do not agree with Raul and have launched an enquiry.
"After what has been reported to have happened during the victory celebrations of Barcelona's championship win at their stadium on May 15, the words of Samuel Eto'o could be the object of analysis for this body and an investigation will be opened," a RFEF statement read.
He went too far - i know madrid didnt treat him well but this is uncalled for
