The Pak vs Ind Test series was clearly a high scoring one which indicated that the pitches were quite flat. Ideal for a certain someone... Shahid Afridi.

I was wondering why was he left out of the national test side even after the 1st test which proved that the pitches were flat due to the number of runs scored. He has had a decent record with the bat on flat pitches in india in previous times to say the LEAST. I'm sure he would have made a couple of 50's easily in the series and his bowling is alot better than the guy who gets a wicket after conceding about 500 runs, aka Danish Kaneria. It sounds like a bad selection move.

Sorry again if this matter has been discussed before...

He failed in 2 odis out of 4! What do you expect the man to do score runs & take wickets every single match. As for Afridi not been in the test side- its been talked till death & now even the anti-afridi brigade (some of them) agree that afridi should have been in the test side.

How much did he really score in the other 2? yep he shud have been in the test team but only because the laternative was Bhanja.

Match winning 29* & 37 (i think) when he was sent out to increase the tempo. His bowling figures were also quite good in both the odis.

With an average of 45 at #6 in test matches> Afridi deserves to be in the test whether bhanja is there or not!
