I challenged a few teams to a 20/20 friendly and logged in a while later to see they accepted my challenge, the fixture was up.

Logged in later to check everything out and the fixture was gone ! All my challenges had gone too :O :O

To challenge someone, go to search and type in the team name or whatever.

Then on the teams homepage at the bottom right might be 2 options. For an OD friendly you can challenge at either ground, for 20/20 friendly you can only challenge at your ground, and only the teams in your country.

Wait for the next season to start in a weeks time or so and you will play first class games too. When you challenge a player it sets a challenge for Sundays for an OD game. BT20 challenges are only allowed at the end of the season and can be for any day except Friday and sunday.

Actually I also thought it was t20. and setup my tactics accordingly. We were 102 in 19 overs but I dont know why it took us forever to chase the target down. Shoulda taken 20 overs max.

BTW, in Battrick a 'friendly' automatically means 50 overs or what? Anything less or more it'd be unfriendly right? Atleast it should say 'friendly OD'. :9:

yep friendly normally means OD because thats the type of friendlys which are contsant throught the full season. BT20 friendlys only happen in the offseason

After the match, check out the reporter's ratings on the top right of the scorecard. With this you can see how the two teams compared. You were obviously playing a much stronger team. Click on opponents and check out their squads to determine their strengths.

Still doesnt make any sense. Now in my current match first ball of the match goes for a 6. I dont care if I lose but I quit Cricinfo cricket manager cuz it was unrealistic and random which is just not cricket and a waste of time.

Two days ago, on a Green track ( that supports pacers ) my spinner Ghani 9.2 overs 2 maidens 26 runs 3 wickets

Today on a Dusty wicket( thats made for spinners) 4 overs 50 runs NO wickets.

Javed who took 5 for 38 two days ago and was the Man of the match went for 51 runs in 4 overs and NO wicket ofcourse.

Any insight into this 'Simulation' that I'm missing, please?

THere are different facts, check your spinner fitness level, Sublime is the highest fitness level and you have to maintain that by playing different player in different matches, increasing thier stamina.

Players fitness decrease players skills, if a player is tired he can't perform 100%

Also if you are playing a team who is higher skill than you, in that case your player also cannot perform well as he is much weaker than the oponent.

I knew it was going to be risky by setting nearly everyone to V attacking and it didn't look like the gamble would work untill Ul Haq came to the crease.

I tried to pick my best bowlers regardless of pitch condition so this meant I played 2 spinners. While one of them was decent, went for only 30 or so runs, the other (better one) went for 54. I think that is where I lost the match. my best bowlers are 3 medium pacers and 2 spinners, what type of pitches should I use?
