Match Update 1

DM and salmanbutt129 gave a good start to Lahore Leopards on the batting track. DM looked to be in a beastly mood as he kept hitting Maharoof for a 4 in every over, and forced captain Easa to take him out of the bowling attack. He smashed Paul for a six too, while on the other hand salmanbat129 kept playing very cautiously, and gave most of the strike to DM, who looked to be in a great form. They both made 61 runs for the first wicket when a good throw from Big Max ran DM out as Rawalpindi Blasters sighed in relief and celebrated the wicket of dangerous looking DM.

imran'khan joined salmanbutt129, who decided to take revenge from Big Mac for running out his partner DM, so when Big Mac came to bowl to him, salmanbutt129 hit him for a six, followed by a four. Take that! He said. But the second wicket partnership didn't last long as imran'khan got an inside edge off the bowling of Mahmud and got bowled.

The captain The Blazer joined salmanbutt129, and got dropped on the very first ball by Einstein, who made a mess of the simple chance. The Blazer got lucky twice in the same over again when the umpire denied two lbw appeals on the bowling of Mahmud. The Blazer didn't look comfortable against the spin bowling at all, but got lucky again as his another catch got dropped in the next over, this time by captain Easa.

salmanbutt129 looking that his partner was in some trouble went to him and gave him some advice. salmanbutt129 then decided to accelerate his innings as he hit Ghost'ster for a huge six. The Blazer got another chance later when, this time, Paul dropped his catch. The Blazer got furious and decided to play aggressively. The tactic seemed to work as he hit two long sixes that went to the commentary box and scared the commentators away. Both The Blazer and salmanbutt129 made a quick 61 runs partnership, and it seemed that the game might be going away from the hands of Rawalpindi Blasters. Looking at this, the captain Easa decided to bring back Maharoof. The decision paid off as Maharoof bowled salmanbutt129 in the fourth ball of his over, but it was an inside egde, and salmanbutt129 looked very disappointed.

Both batsmen stood till the last over when dblock, who had scored 61 off 61 balls with the help of 6 fours and 1 six, went to slog FAM, but missed the ball and got bowled, and FAM finally got a wicket.

WasimG, who didn’t bowl in today’s match for some reason, seemed to be in a good nick with the bat as he was striking the ball very nicely. Easa also hit 2 boundaries. Both batsman were playing well and keeping up with the run rate. WasimG hit a four off Lee, and then another four off Akhtar’s bowling, but then got overconfident as he tried to smash Augustus out of the park, but got an outside edge, and imran'khan took an easy catch.

In the next over Akhtar’s ball rapped Hash’s pads, and he went for a strong lbw appeal, but the ball had hit Hash too high, so it was denied, and Akhtar looked frustrated. Hash seemed to be enjoying the situation.

In the next over, cruzal went for an lbw appeal against Easa, but it was denied too. cruzal was getting a lot of movement from the pitch.

In the next over, Hash smashed Akhtar for a six, and some words were exchanged. Easa tried to calm Hash down, but he decided to smash cruzal for a six too, who was bowling really well, and paid the price by giving an easy catch to Augustus.

Einstein continued to play aggressively while FAM tried to be as much defensive as possible. They just needed below 100 in 21 overs, and still had some batting left, so the game was still even. Einstein was playing well, and was trying to keep up with the run rate. The Blazer brought Akhtar and Lee back into the attack. Lee bowled an outside off stump delivery, and Einstein had a slash at it and missed it by miles, but Oxy did a ridiculous caught behind appeal and got denied.

imran'khan returned to bowl in the decisive phase of the game. He appealed for an lbw on his first ball, but was denied, and frustrated FAM, who had missed lots of deliveries, decided to go for a blind slog fest, and smashed imran'khan for 3 boundaries in a row on the next 3 deliveries. It turned out to be a very expensive over for Lahore, and the required run rate was now just 5.

45.1 imran'khan to FAM, no run, Appeal for LBW, a bit too optimistic though
45.2 imran'khan to FAM, wide, The umpire being a bit rough on imranahmed_khan, giving that a wide
45.2 imran'khan to FAM, FOUR, That was a bad delivery by imranahmed_khan, deserving this punishment

Match Update 23

The Blazer decided to introduce salmanbutt129 into the attack, who hadn’t bowled a single over in the match, but he had no choice, because his main bowlers had already finished off their quota.

The first ball from salmanbutt129 got a lot of moment off the pitch, but Einstein hit his second ball for a six, bringing the smiles back in the Rawalpindi dressing room.

Match Update 25

Only 8 needed off 2 overs now, and salma't129, who was the only bowler left for Lahore, was back into the attack. First ball to Einstein went for a four, and the winner of the match seemed very clear now. Einstein then left the second delivery alone, because there was no need to take any risks now. Good batting that.

Some chat between Lahore players, new field was set, and everyone came inside the circle, salma't129 bowled the next delivery, it pitched outside off, and Einstein smacked it toward covers for a 4! And his team won by 4 wickets. What a finish.

48.1 salma't129 to Einstein, FOUR, salmanbutt129 cant belive it
48.2 salma't129 to Einstein, no run, Left alone by Napoleon Einstein
48.3 salma't129 to Einstein, FOUR, Brillian cover drive by Napoleon Einstein

It was just a coincidence that my player scored runs, but I don't want such coincedence to happen everytime I simulate my match. So that's why I think the person who is simulating shouldn't simulate their own matches. :P Just to avoid any suspicions (That's why I said in the beginning that I shouldn't play in the tourney if I am going to simulate all the matches. :)) )

Haha. I did tell that I have nothing to do with the decisions. :) It's up to the computer to decide the bowling order, and If there are more than 5 bowlers, then it's likely that not everyone will get to bowl. Like WasimG didn't bowl a single over in the match, and when I played a tryout match against Australia after making our team, he bowled in the match. So yeah, it's not possible to follow the bowling orders unless you are controlling a team, which would be cheating, and you can only control only one team, so it's just not possible, but I think AI has done a decent job of selecting bowlers.
