90th PGA tounament will start from Thursday August 7, 2008. Tiger is still missing in action. That levels the playing field. Anyone can come up big.
Tee times are as followed:
http://i.pga.com/pga/images/events/2008/pgachampionship/pdf/rd1_teetimes.pdf

One of the par threes are brutal and long. Europeans has not done well at the PGA championship yet last time they played here for ryder cup they have happy memories. 18 1/2 to 9 1/2 beat down Tiger included US team. Gooson wil be a force. Vijay, well he just won last week. So no on this week. I would like to see Rocco up the leaderboard come sunday. Experts are penciling Kenny Perry to be a force. I think a non-american will win this one. Who can disregard Harrington now? If he can win the Open with a bad wrist, surely he can compete at PGA with a good wrist. For Cink, it is now or never. I will watch the whole sunday if Duval is near the leader board come sunday. Would be happy it Toms or the real lefty (Mike Weir) hoists the cup.

In anyways, should be an interesting tournament no doubt.

Timings are not ideal for me to watch BUT i shall certainly try to watch as much as possible

Robert Karlsson is the early leader at -4.

Furyk (-2) is second starting at back nine. Back nine seems to give trouble to most. Garcia is at -1. Choi is at +4. Westwood at +5, Mickelson, Love III all at +2.

Anthony Kim the rookie should make some noise.

You dont see many 'non-Americans' win this.

It'll be an Amreeki that wins it - but who I cannot say.

I 'll wait for the final 2 rounds

Garcia with a 1 shot lead on -3 after 14

Harrington and Curtis 1 shot behind after 14 and 13 respectively

Gonna be a close finish - hope Garcia can manage to pull it off
