There were few things what confused Razzak what he realy is. Not knowing what he realy should target at...
1. A bowling allrounder
2. A batting allrounder
3. both batting & bowling :L? ---- [-( ------ :)))
if we see correctly that his bowling got bether than his batting. He should target on his bowling rather than his batting. If we remember at start of his career well back in 1999 in the wordl cup all the commentators were saying he is a handy cricketer for Pakistan. He is a good bowler, his batting adds a little bit extra to the Pakistan team. I absolutly agree by then he was a bowling allrounder but not a batting allrounder. After 1999, round 2001 Razzak changed completly many don't know for sure what realy happen to him . He was targeting both batting & bowling wich is not good, you should only concentrate on one thing and not both wich is confusing for an allrounder. Sometimes you ask what is Razzak A bowling allrounder or a Batting allrounder?. In that chase he neither both of them. I think Bob Woolmer realised this and realy thinked about it maybe he discussed with Razzak himself what he thinked what he realy is. Lately 2 or 3 months he bowling got bether because he is targeting one side of his game wich is very good. We can see now a clearly result his bowling got bether but his batting got a down a little bit that's not to big problem for him right now. He found back his condefince.
I think it is clear Razzak was confused withhimself what he realy was, but he is slowly finding back what he lost ;)+ . InshAllah in couple of month we see our good old Razzak back with the ball :). He should eat more saag & meat to get his bowling speed to 90 mph :P .
