I'm not from bradford but i agree with Muddy here. I live close by an visit now an then. Its not as bad as some ppl make it out to be, no1 smokes drinks in the open. I studied in Bradford. The muslim community at large has high moral values. No doubt there are yound muslims who have strayed but that is no differnt to any other town. For socially distadvantaged people there will always be young people who are willing do do things for a quick buck.

Mre tahn anything there is strong revival of muslim values amongst the young which I feel is backlash to the muslim phobia portrayed by Blair etc.

Whats with all this dissing of Bradford, i have been visting Bradford since i was well little so i know it reasonably well! I did not see any Sharabis in the open, i know there is an issue with drugs but dissing the area because of a documentary you saw that was made by non-muslims who like to take a dig at Bradford all the chance they get!
