Used to be Shoaib Akhtar... but now I like how Andrew Flintoff Appeals...
and who doesn't like Stuart Broad's childish appeal...
In the spinners there is no better appeal then the scary in your face Murali appeal...

I gotta admit Afridi's appeal is quite intimidating. I remember the Kitply Cup, where three of his appeals were turned down by Nadir Shah. The look on his face was horrific.

discuss.you mean discuss the technique of the appeal ... are the arms are positioned well, is your mouth open 45 degrees, are you begging with real emotion etc?

Are you talking about on the field here or the off field dramas he's been getting involved with these days. :13:

HAHHA, that is brilliant, can't believe I totally forgot to mention tht!
I remember tht game, I was there at the rose bowl in 2006, Younis Khan was brilliant wiv the bat, hence the reason for the desperation in the appeal by KP

Wasim Akram for sure.
However, I am starting to hate Shoaib Akhtar's appeal, it sounds like struggling for air after being choked, AGGH AGH AGHHH!

The Kevin Pietersen appeal to try to get Younis Khan lbw was hilarious.
Was done on his knees, as if he was asking the umpire to marry him or something.
Guys these days... :O lol

Brett Lee. Specially when he keeps running raising both his arms up after the follow through, that's really impressive.

All Nambians bowlers appeal this way in a very soft and gentle tone.
"How is that Sir" :)

In this department my all time faveret is Abdul Qadir. Most time he will start apealing even before ball pitches. Very entertaining.

I used to love his reaction to having an appeal turned down, he'd give the impression the ball had just crashed into his shins!

Wasim Akram had a brilliant appeal - the look on his face when it was turned down was menacing :wasim :wasim

I agree. Qadir's was the most impressive appeal. It was more an assault than an appeal.

There's a YouTube clip of Hadlee's 9/52 which includes a successful lbw shout, but it's not a prime example. What the above pic doesn't convey is the sheer theatricality of the appeal (the flying pirouette turn, the hamstring-tweaking double knee bend, the imploring index-finger-waggling) which was so at odds with Hadlee's otherwise controlled demeanour. Hadlee's great bowling role model was DK Lillee so I suspect the appeal was similarly inspired.

Those Wasim pics are quite funny.
First person that come to my mind was Monty, probably not the most aggressive appeals (can be at times) but just the sheer enthusiasm in his appeals, often he is in the first phase of his famous leap while he is appealing and actually has to remember to stop him self celebrating before the wicket is given.

That Indian bowler, Mohanty.
I remember seeing his great appeals in the 99 WC.
