U like Schiller, my German teacher loves him. i heard of him while reading "Der Besuch Der Alten Dame" for my AS German. Do u like Friedrich Durrenmatt? u read Les Justes by Albert Camus?

thats him! My German teacher says Schiller is the one guy better than Goethe. Have you read Graham Greene? I will check now which Schiller play is mentioned in Der Besuch! I felt sorry for Ill, but it was inevitable! The funniest bit is Koby and Loby! I love how Claire always says the unexpected like the "herzanschlag" (heart attack) to the coroner and asking Der Turner (gymnast) if he strangled many people. And that was how Alfred died, a further symobilsation of how the Gullener were embracing Claire's ways!

it was Wallenstein. there was a quotation from the prologue of it:

ernst is serious. serious is life, cheerful is art.

schiller also wrote maria stuart and william tell. he wrote historical plays i think.
