Haven't seen it but surprisingly I read that Gran Torino is his highest grossing film (first one to cross $100 million).

Watch "Unforgiven" - not in your list (Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman). I loved it

He making another on now which is about Mandela and I read focusing on 1994??? soccer WC he got for SA. Supposed to be Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon in it

Yes, a very good director. Mystic River, though, had the worst ending I have ever seen. Totally illogical. It was a good movie, except for the ending

Grand torino is ok movie..but nothin comes close to classic like Unforgiven, The outlaw josey wales, Dirty harry's, and offcourse the good the bad and the ugly...classic :)
