Hi guys,
Can someone here give a list and teach me Urdu slang words often used in the PP forums? Also the translations in English? :P
The only one I know of is 'masala' which I think is for rumor/rubbish news.
What's 'yar'?

Masala is spices used in sub-continental cooking. In cricket terms, masala is added to stories to spice them up and make them into being newsworthy.
Yaar = friend

What's 'yar'?
Like people have told you, literally yaar means 'friend'.
But more often than not it is used for a different purpose. For example:
Haan (yes) yaar.
Naheen (no) yaar.
Here it doesn't mean anything really. Just to finish the sentence in a more casual, friendly way.
Pretty much like Chinese people in say Malaysia when they use 'laa' at the end of their sentences while speaking Chinglish.

Thanks Momo :)
So basically,
Haan year = Yes, friend...
Naheen year = No, friend...
