Why is there delay in squad announcement for Aus series?

I read on a thread here earlier that the Pak squad against Aus was going to be announced on april 1st. Why have they not announced it? Are they waiting for ICL players? Fitness tests? Other reasons?

Afridi has not completed his swishing too and fro exercises yet. They are waiting until he can complete 20 swooshes and hit at least 1 cleanly and edge at least i other. They have tried everything to assist him herein including asking 1 of the girls to underarm the ball to him. So far, no luck yet. :D

No hurry at all. One source in the PCB said that they were going to announce the squad on april 1st. BTW the one day domestic series is all over now.

It is not about Butt only. Ok you imagine Butt allows them to play. Do you think Australia will play the series if the ICL players from Pakistan are playing. Australia is also "afraid" of BCCI :90:

Saboor Ahmad (the NCA fitness coach) is really busy at the moment because they're still doing the fitness tests for the national team. I guess the selectors are (wisely for a change) waiting for the results of the tests!
