Not playing yet but we are pretty much hopeful that Bangladesh's Test and ODI cricketer Mehrab Hossain will be playing from our team since he has recently moved to Midwestern united states. It was pretty nice to see him in the local mosque. We are meeting with him in a few days to decide the terms. He has a full grown beard now and observes 5 time prayers. Absolute gem of a guy.

I read some where quite a lot of clubs in manchester have enquired about availability of Muhammed Asif. That would be a great signing if some one could get him.
I remember him playing for Ainsdale in the Liverpool/Southport Alliance league. He took 100+ wickets in a seaon and pretty much won his side the title.

Recently i was on my way to Cricket Practise, and a builder stopped me who was captain of a team in Manchester. He asked me whether i would come down to their practise as they were looking for a batsman in their line up.
Within that team, Humayun Farhat Plays, but i decided to give their team a rest as i'm already committed with a team in Manchester.

After Aaron Redmond's fine return to the international scene just days after playing club cricket and India's Pragyan Ojha saying he played club cricket in huddersfield recently, i was wondering which players are at your local club.
last year we had Zulqernain Haider and this year we've got a South African spinner who was at a training camp for the best 5 spinners in South Africa alongside Harris and Botha.
So which player is at your local club?

Question, who pays the overseas players in club cricket? Where do they generate the money to pay them.

MILNROW saw enough of Kamran Younis in the five-wicket defeat at Heywood to hope they have secured a quality professional.
The 24-year-old from Pakistan, who plays his domestic cricket with the Gujranwala Association and Sialkot Stallions, was originally part of the Pakistan ICC Twenty20 World Cup squad, but failed to make the final party.
He only flew into the country on Tuesday and, having had a run out in Friday night’s Twenty20, showed enough at Crimble for Milnrow to think that they might just have hit on a winner.
Younis, a right-hand batsman, made just 23 runs before being part of a Milnrow collapse that saw them subside to 37-4 in the face of a new ball onslaught by Heywood’s former Lancashire second team paceman, Will Purser.
He looked confident and composed at the crease, and was clearly not happy with the lbw decision off Purser. His left-arm orthodox spin bowling also looked of a high standard when Heywood replied, claiming the wickets of home pro Brendan Taylor and Purser himself as Milnrow made the champions fight hard to reach their victory target of 184.
The pair put on a century partnership before Younis, in the middle of a 17-over spell, produced a gem of a delivery which turned and spat off a length and induced the edge to wicketkeeper Denny Hulme.
