Its time to ask some harsh questions about the lack of good attacking batsmen coming through in Pakistan.
We always compare our batsmen to those in indian team but to me they streets ahead of us but on the evidence of the last few BD games I have watched I have to say the likes of tamim iqbal, junaid siddique, ashraful and shakib look more convincing and composed when they try to hit through the line then the likes of butt, shezad, hameed, manzoor even malik and misbah kami is only batsman who looks solid while attacking the bowlers nazir and farhat being others.
Something is wrong with our pitches in domestic games.

i am VERY impressed with the way bangladesh is evolving as a cricketing nation. they are definitely on their way to a flurry of seriously shocking upsets in the upcoming couple of ODI world cups..
oh please just have a look at their averages to see how 'good' they really are

They are talented, it's just they lack experience. Talking about experience, it's a young side with the exception of Ashraful.
I must say it was more enjoying to watch Bangladesh then Pakistan yesterday. Hope Pakistan improve for their next warm up game.

We might have a tough time against Bangladesh in super 8 stage. Pak should take them lightly.
Bangla are decent for a short period of time when they can throw the bat risk free
They are more suited to this format where patience is not required

That's exactly what I was talking about Zaz man aggressive batsmen not better but then again I would worry about our batting once Younis and Moyo call time on there careers in all formats.

it was just one game guys...of course the boys were quite confident, and towards the end they were just trying to play out the overs, otherwise 200 was there for the taking.
but ashraful has promised big things against india...so be prepared for a POTENTIAL upset that day. after facing, johnson and lee...zaheer and ishant will be like net bowlers...almost.

As a Pak fan, I would want India to crush BD so that our super 8 group can be:
Pak (assuming we top our group)
SL or WI (assuming Australia top the group)
Bangladesh
New Zealand
as opposed to
India
Australia
SA
NZ

It doesn't matter if India comes first or 2nd. India will be in Group F and Pakistain will be in Group E.
The top two ranked teams in each group are seeded 1 and 2. They will retain this seeding for the Super Eights stage, irrespective of whether they finish first or second in their group, unless they are knocked out by team 3 in their group. In this instance, team 3 replaces the position of the team they knock out.
For example, if Bangladesh wins Group A and India comes second, for the purposes of the Super Eights, India will still be A1 and Bangladesh will be A2. If for example, Ireland qualifies instead of India, Ireland will become A1

May you should not have used wishful thinking they have beaten both Indian and Pakistan in WC. More rescently India in 2007 world cup. By the way there is no hardned rule that lightining does not strike twice it can strike as many times as it takes.

^^Yes. True. But you are looking at a completely different team now under a different captain who are quitely confident of defending the cup. BD will have their moments, but definitely not at India's cost.

India gonna batter bangs although would love to see bangs win..at the moment the Indians know what they want to do and how they want to do it..we on the other hand don't know whether we are still on bhurban or in England...I'm sick of the unpur jahil way we are approaching things..this culture of 'oh koi nahi jee koi baat nahi' needs to stop!!!

the outfield was quite fast yesterday, if u got it past the fielder it would mean a boundary, against india it could eb different though, sharma looks in good form
