Theres potential in his bowling. He needs fine tuning then we could have a decent one day bowler.

However, i dont think he's going to be test match material cos of lack of pace and swing...

Worrying comment. No coaching is better than bad coaching.

You can have good facilities at the academy, but it is somewhat undermined if the coaches are poor.

I know I've said this before, but I'm gonna keep saying it until everyone gets the message.

In all the years of the "bowling" academy being set up, what have we actually produced? Nothing, absolutely nothing! We've seen trundlers after trundlers who have done nothing. We've also seen promising pace bowlers who have gone to the academy, been Aqib'd, and come out slower than chris harris.

And then we have Mr Action-changer boasting how he's lengthened these bowlers' careers. "Juu see thaa praaablim vas alignment". Well cheers aqib. I remember in an interview when asked what was wrong with sami's bowling he replied it's nothing but alignment.

And to think this fraud is being groomed to be the head coach of our team! I think the PCB are intent on continually challenging the talent in pakistan cricket. It's like a major human experiment.

They'll give them the worst captain possible, the worst academy coach, the worst assistant coach, the worst head coach, the worst keeper, the worst spinner and then say...."ahaaa let' see you win now!"

I think i mentioned this in another thread as well. Changing a bowler's action needs scientific study... unfortunately, we don't have enough people who can understand the impacts of changing somebody's action, not only on the physique but also on the ability to do something with the ball.
