I always say this, Anyone can identify talent, but knowing when to pick a player and how to integrate and then utilize that player takes skill.

Case in point Ahmed Shehzad. Undoubtedly very talented but with the likes of Jamshed, Nazir, Hameed, Manzoor, and Latif around u cant pick shehzad.

Bari is harmless selector.Doesn't try to impose himself on the captain.It all depends on yk to dictate the terms and make sure selection should be done on merit.Because Bari always try to give chance to ******** players.

Wasim Bari, the former Pakistan wicketkeeper, has been appointed the interim chairman of selectors in place of Abdul Qadir, who quit last week.

Bari, who played 81 Tests for Pakistan, held three previous terms as chairman of selectors and was the PCB's director of human resources immediately before his latest appointment.

His first task, a PCB statement said, would be to pick the team for the tour of Sri Lanka in July, when Pakistan are due to play three Tests, five ODIs and a Twenty20 international.

Qadir quit as chief selector on June 8, following differences with the PCB, which he accused of interfering in his duties.

The same old ex-cricketers hold the power and keep anyone new out.

Zardari made a huge mistake appointing Butt.

Mushy on the other hand was very sharp in appointing two guys who were outside the old boys club.

People were whining about Qadir. Wait till Bari totally blocks all induction of youngsters into the senior squad. Younis will really have to take a stand, at the same time keep winning and keep scoring. If he can't do the latter two than his position will get weaker by the day and this bunch of well-resourced corrupt, inept, blood-sucking individuals will throw him out like 'doodh mein se makhi'.

I really like how things are going. Qadir was the first time I saw a selector genuinely sincere about Pak cricket in a long time. Younis is also an entire different personality than any of the Pak players we've seen in recent while. One's gone, I hope the other sticks around until the '11 World Cup.
