i was seeing highlights of 1971 eng / pak series on star sports . I saw a great bowler named ASIF MASOOD , attacking from pak side . probably it was Imrans khans debut match or series

what was most amazing to me was his similarity of action and bowling technique with our current asif

Both guys are

tall and Similar hairstyles
Same - Safe to say exact , bowling action
Same delivering arm position
Both guys are open chested
Same in cutters
Same technique of 3 out going deliveries and then a sharp incutter
he also clean bowled 4 top order english batsmen by tricking them with wide off stump incutters , that they raised thier bats to leave , reminded me of asif again
he was also warned by umpire twice , once for sledging , and again for landing on pitch , similar attitude to current asif lol

I then checked his stats , and came to know that , considering the amount of cricket played those days and status of young pakistani side , his record was not that bad either , he stayed for 7 years in the team as a premier pacer before rise of Imran khan , Sarfaraz nawaz and mudassir nazar etc

Can anyone beam more light on him .

**Much more hair on Masood than Mohammad.
**At the beginning of his bowling run up, he would take 2-3 step backward/sideways.
**Mohammad Asif is a little skinner that Masood.
