Jonathan Trott celebrated with South Africans, claims Michael Vaughan

Vaughn claims he saw Trott celebrating with the SA players when they won the series in England in 2008. He was the 12th man for England in the same game.

I don't know if anything should be read into this, but Vaughn says "I was going into the press conference and I saw him patting them on the back. It hit home what English cricket has become like."

Trott has responded by saying "My commitment to England is 100 per cent. I've spent seven years working hard to be able to wear the Three Lions and in that time my allegiance has never wavered."

I don't see the problem of congratulating a team on their victory and especially if they do happen to be your nation. It is much better than to be a sore loser.

Now it also depends on what Vaughan may have meant by "celebrating" because there is a difference between say mere congratulations (which things such as patting them on the back may suggest) and say going to a victory party of theirs. Either way Trott looks like one for the future as far as England are concerned and his performances are all that matter

vaughn is an idiot and the worlds most overated player..had a could of good seasons and then was rubbish!! Trott probably knew some of the guys and it's normal to congratulate the opposition isn't it?? maybe vaughn should wonder where the English cricketers have gone since so many foreigners are getting into the team!!! pathetic!!
