PCB to appoint fielding, bowling, batting coaches, says Shahriyar

ISLAMABAD: Shahriyar Khan, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Thursday said that the Board has decided to appoint fielding, bowling and batting coaches to enhance the technique of players on senior and junior levels.

The appointment of fielding, bowling and batting coaches on senior and junior levels will be made purely on merit, he said during a formal chat with host of journalists after participating from Senate Standing Committee meeting on Sports and Culture in Parliament House on Thursday.

Shahriyar Khan, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) told reporters that Board has decided to appoint fielding, bowling and batting coaches to boost the skills of players on senior and junior levels.

The appointments will be done entirely on merit with respect to all the three departments and coaches from all over the world will be entitled for coaching in Pakistan. He added that former coaches Mudassar Nazar, Haroon Rashid, Intikhab Alam besides former coaches can coach Pakistani young cricketers.

Why do they make statements like that ? Isnt it stating the obvious ? What other factor would be involved ? There is so much talk and such little results that it makes me sick !
