what software do you guys use to rip stuff off of windows media player? I heard wm recorder is a good software but can't find a copy anywhere. Can someone please help out?

come on guys...spread the wisdom please. I am afraid this might be my only chance to watch the pak-india series. either that or I can flunk out of school!

Yo Appeal! I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean from TV to computer, or from Video to computer? Or do you want to save streaming video?

If it's the former, you're going to need a graphics card that has a video-IN connection and if you don't (and i'd guess you won't but you just might) you can buy a dedicated "TV capture card".

After this piece of hardware, the rest should be easy.

If it's copying streaming video there are a number of programs that do that.

DM I meant copying streaming video off of windows media player. Do you know of any programs that are free? I'm not in Pakistan so it'll be pretty expensve to buy them. thanks a lot!!

I've heard that Streambox is a good one. And a quick google search gave me this link, seems to be good:

Sometimes when streaming..u can save by simply clicking save in media player. Worked with Pakistanimedia files at least.
