Asif not a T20 bowler. asifs game is line, length and swing. In T20 he can be hit. As we have seen he was expensive. so should he not play. I think our best t20 bowling options are amir, razzaq, rana, afridi, gul. What do you guys think?

no people, he's right... 4 overs is sooo minimal that asif's line and length would've had no effect... razzaq would've been a better option

from that team, i would repace afridi with latif... aamer for asif..

and probably razaq for someone like imran farhat...

Imran Nazir
Kamran Akmal (wk)
Umar Akmal
Shahid Afridi (c)
Shoaib Malik
Fawad Alam
Abdul Razzaq
Rana Naveed

he is most certainly good enough for T20 cricket, but I kind agree, I don't want to see him play T20 cricket...let him stick to the "proper" cricketing formats, and let someone like Aamer or Arafat play T20

Arafat? Please nooooo.

i would actually want Asif not to play t20's to prolong his career.
Him Playing T20 and getting injured takes a lot out of Pakistani side.

Agree with this. Its time we save our main players from T-20 cricket and keep them fresh for Test matches and important ODI's.

asif isn't quite as good as he was before

With our batting we can;t afford to have too many specialist bowlers. Ajmal and Asif definitely make it tough.

Asif isn't the same as back then. What im saying is that we have better options. Razzaq - remember how good he was at the world cup and he can bat, amir - very fast and hard to hit, gul - best t20 bowler there is, afridi - a very good T20 bowler he has good variations, rana - good t20 bowler and can bat.

pick up a brain and get back to me

Asif can play T20. He can do a job for Pakistan.

He should concentrate on test matches and ODI's.

Pakistan have got plenty of players for T20. Don't mind him playing though.

pick up a brain and get back to meLOL, don't be ridiculous. Is this the same Asif who just picked up 15 test wickets in NZ ON COMEBACK as well as averaging less than his career stats in the Aus ODI series, also bowling up to 140ks? He is an excellent new ball bowler and gave away a mere four runs more than Naved. Basically, you're saying he doesn't warrant a place in the side because he can't bat, well the fact is if you're relying on number 11 to win you a T20 then you don't deserve it. Yes, Razzaq is a handy option but to compare him as a bowler with Asif is simply ridiculous, both deserve a spot in the team.

I'd love to pick up a brain, unfortunately I don't think you're in a position to offer donations, as illustrated by the fact that you think Rana can bat! lmao. :)))

I believe Asif is a very good Bowler and fully able to Play in 20/20. He is an intelligent Bowler and I even believe he could bowl last overs too.

Nevertheless, Asif and Rana and Sohail Tanvir have a tie.

And for me Rana wins the game due to his all over capabilities with ball and bat and fielding. I don't like Sohail Tanvir personally. It has not to do with cricket, but personal reasons that he seems to be rude person to me and thus he is UGLY with his fielding and never gives 100% humble efforts as fielder. I don't want such person in the team.

So, bottom line is this that we need an Extra Bowler in Each Squad. So, Asif and Rana should be in ever 15 members team squad and Pak Bowlers should be rotated.

Mates it's T20...most bowlers are expensive..

Sledger

So if you have an economy rate of under 8 and have played against mostly top teams in T20Is then you're an expensive bowler? LOL.
