With first class systems i.e. India and now England increasing the limit of foreign players in their 20/20 sides to 4 in their domestic 20/20 tournaments, which 4 would you pick if you owned your own team.

my choice is....

1. Brendon McCullum (hard hitting opening batsman/keeper)

2. Shane Watson (hard hitting opener and useful bowler)

3. Shahid Afridi (matchwinning spinner/batsmen)

4. Abdul Razzaq (matchwinning explosive batsman/useful opening bowler)

BEAT THIS anybody :13:

Razzaq doesn't belong in top 10 let alone top 4:)

yeh your right he is probably the most underated player in the world, but i personally believe he is one of the best pure strikers the game has ever seen , and he practically bowled pakistan to the 20/20 world championship...this guy is made for 20/20 cricket

and why dont you choose your four before you criticise mine :13:

It jus takes a few zimbabwean spinners to dismiss them :)

pollard looks like a useless bowler and very inconsitent batsmen,

bravo although will be very good choice for team, still dont think his better than razzaq

I wasn't criticizing your choice, I liked your top three though.

Imran Nazir

I didn't have a 4th player. There were too many I could think of like Mccullum, Gibbs, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Dilshan, Akmal, Watson, Malik, Morkel, Kallis etc but I decided on Imran Nazir. MIght seem strange but yeah the other three are pretty good though.

I would have variety across my team in terms of their abilities/positions.

I would pick one opener, one middle order batsman (# 3), One spinner/allrounder and one Pacer/All rounder.

Opener: Brandon McCullum (also make him my keeper). Best batsman in the form right now. Thus he gets a spot.

Middle Order Batsman: Yuvraj Singh .. he's a fine hitter of the ball and his ability in this form is out of this world. The way he strikes the ball is pure magic. He may be Indian but his talent has to be respected in this form.

Spinner/All rounder: Shahid Afridi... The man is a brilliant T20 player. The man every team wants on their side when it comes to limited overs cricket. Great fielder, great leggie and decent batsman. Plus his crowd entertaining capabilities are always handful in bringing the fans to the ground.

Pacer/Allrounder: Mohammad Aamer... The power of youth. He will add pace to the unit to round it out. He is growing as each match passes by and he shows his skill under pressure during the T20 world cup. Plus he's a handy batsman lower down the order.

**I would have selected Gul over Aamer but I was looking more for an opening bowler who can use the new ball thus the selection. Although I wouldn't mind Gul either. **

Vettori must get a look in, his economy rate is less than six an over.
