I was hoping to buy my mom an Urdu-English dictionary so that it could help her improve her English.

There are quite a few on Amazon. Which would you guys recommend?

I would recommend these two, but only because of the reputation of the publishers, I haven't personally used either of these.

The first is by Ferozsons whose Feroz-ul-Lughat was the Urdu dictionary we used in our house.

The second is the Oxford University Press dictionary. I've used their English-Spanish dictionary and it was pretty good. They would actually show you how to use words in sentences so helped a lot with context, etc.
